The staff at the Claremont was awesome and so helpful. They made my mother and I feel excited about vegas. Check in was super fast and they gave you the receipt right away. Bonus they didn't even charge for the deposit! !! The young lady and young gentleman were friendly. The hotel is clean, quiet and budget friendly. The free breakfast was coo extra. The rooms are dark and the beds while not the prettiest are uber comfortable. They had a great freezer, elevator, breakfast hall and nice pool.
all reviews » Place was so cheap and enough for our needs in Vegas (recover after a heavy night). They even had a pool which was perfect to relax a bit. Staff was really friendly (Marcia - Housekeeping, a legend) Great Wifi. The close proximity of the expressway concerned me with possible room noise but that wasn't the case. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I'll be a regular visitor there in the future. The staff was very friendly to myself, as well as my group, although it isn't the greatest hotel I got a great sized room for 5 days for under 200 dollars literally less than 3 mins from the strip on edc week. The room was clean and clean sheets. There was no TV remote control at the time. No cups for coffee. Otherwise it was okay. The staff was great!. Conveniently near the Interstate. Nothing, they were cleaning our room at midnight, which indicates to us they rent rooms by the hour, there are at least 4 strip clubs within walking distance, there were people that had been there for up to 4 hours waiting for their room to be "cleaned", this place is a joke, you should take it off your site!!. The beds and linen where clean and very comfortable. The bath oils and shampoo and wonderful. Rooms very clean for such a old building. Nothing. I was not impressed with anything about the hotel. We will not be returning. As much as I love this place omg finding was worst than finding Waldo. Do not use google directions. To find this place look up the Artisian Hotel and turn right on the side to find the Claremont. They need some signs to help people find this place. Oh btw the pool is open all day and night but it needs to sweep at least once a day from small branches that fall in from surrounding trees. It was just a lil bit too far from the Strip, but defo can't be argued for what we payed...just a minor detail. Cleaning could be improved a lil, but once again, SOOOO cheap. Nothing really. Excellent value for the money. Bathroom Faucet couldn't turn off -Elevator really bad not taken care of -Building is really Old. Leaving items and staff not admitting they weren't found. one staff member was very rude at check out! Fridge was not working and had mold. Lighting in room didn't work nor extra power source. N/A. Fridge was not working. room was hot tv had no remote room was outdated. Rates of rooms go up when they want to. no smoking in none of the rooms. i dont like a girl that names start with g and her attitude shes the only staff member who is awful at what she do. theres no store near by so they need microwaves and better vending machines and also stock up on towels and toilet paper. Poor facilities..but what do you expect I was not about to pay an arm and a leg for something less spacious on the strip. The area was a bit scary for me and my elderly father. Outside the entrance was scruffy and was the smokers' den. Location was totally inaccessible on foot. The bed was not comfortable, the room smelled. Hotel needs an interior face lift. New clean carpets would help a lot. New carpet in the elevator is needed. Room was not clean hairs on sink. tub and washcloth. Room carpet was dirty. pillows were dirty. The air conditioning in the first room did not work. There was old coffee in the coffee pot from previous occupants. We were moved to better room but the prior occupant's wash towels were still in bath and had not been removed or replaced. Rather run down. Old, out dated rooms,. elevator carpet. No telephone in room. Pool was cold. No hangars in closet. Windows face the freeway a few feet away. Difficult to sleep at night with cars and trucks whizzing by. Shower, coffee maker Dirty!. No Internet in the room, Phone or laptop. Had to go to lobby to use laptop to plan the day. Room cleaned, Bar of soap used once tossed no replacement but part of wrapper was left. Dirty towels and wash clothes picked up but not replaced. well the first room the air conditioner was blowing hot air tried turning on lights in the room the lights were plugged into a extention cord which was not plugged in so tried plugging it in started sparking someone had spliced the cord so the gentleman gave me a second room the window was not in track the only thing holding the window in place was the curtain. It took over an hour to check in (computers were down); there was no phone in the room; I asked for a wake up call and was told they would knock on my door but they never did; the door was so warped it wouldn't close and lock from the outside; most furniture was missing handles; no batteries in the remote; some light fixtures didn't work. Will never stay there again. Bad location, very hard to find. The Internet conecation was very bad and wek There was no fan ventilation in h rest room The breakfast was just coffe and biscuits. The hotel itself was a puke colored stucco building next to the freeway. The location couldn't be worse, isolated well off the strip and in an industrial section of the city. The decor is an abortion, the rooms are filthy, the furniture is beat up and non functional. The bathroom is filthy and moldy. The lobby is shabby. Rundown and not very clean. We stayed four nights and our room was not made up even once. Every night when we returned to the room, I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Wifi was weak and often the signal would just disappear. very shabby decor very poor breakfast not at all like the photos. At 3.00 A.M. we woke up from a tweeting noise in the room (maybe under the bed, insect?). We are not too sensible but we could not sleep any longer. The staff allowed for a move to another room. But this took time and 2 hours of sleep from us. The carpets are dirty and they smell. The room looked cheap and I paid 173.92 something around there. Smelled in hallway. Better breakfast seclections st least bagels fruit cereal etc... The pool was green, not clean at all. Our window in the room was broken, house keeping did not come at all. Everything looked like it was going to break. Beds were dirty. There was trash behind everything tv didn't work and it took a hour to check in. the hotel itself. The staff gave me the wrong room number, there was a constant dripping from the broken shower, the window needs to be cracked open to avoid a musty smell from seeping into the room from who-knows-where. secluded somewhat. Green pool. Electrical taped lights. Didn't replace the light bulb. Grungy bathtub. Used up wadded tissue in the bed sheets. It was wery dirty! Couldn' t even touch the hairdryer! Seems that they did not clean since days. We booked a room with wifi and breakfast - we got nothing! Also the room was dirty, we saw just unhappy persons. Just worse!!!. Website says pet friendly they me with $100 in charges for two nights. Tv remote didn't work. Black curly hairs all over bathroom floor. Wifi only in lobby. Boast of a pool online definitely closed off when we arrived. Shady location. Our door key never open and the elevator was not working. Location. Understaffed and in dire need of renovations. Although its in a bad neighborhood, it has a lot of potential. Management needs to step it up. Had to switch rooms, first room was unsuitable Bloodstain found in first room Air conditioner not working in first room 1st room not in range for wifi 2nd room had ammonia odor 2nd room maids left cleaning product in the bathroom Only one electrical outlet for use in the room Wifi was extremely weak, not "high speed" as advertised. Key cards failed to work after 24 hours and I needed to replace them each day. Complimentary "breakfast" was extremely basic and limited with prepackaged food. Nothing good. Disgusting. Poor location. Tv was missing from room. Dirty. Breakfast wan't there... Says all gone .... I was there around 10:30 What a scam.... The shower was moldy and clogged. It didn't drain at all and I was standing in 6 inches of water by the end of a shower. The carpet was stained and not vacummed, the phone didn't work, there was no mattress cover on the bed...only a sheet which left the stained mattress exposed. Really old facilities. Late check in only at 3pm. 20$ extra to check in before that time. Everything. When booking they are listed as pet friendly, upon arrival just the opposite is true. Desk clerk very rude. We were told because of dogs we would not be allowed to stay another night. The place was dirty and run down. There was only 3 mini cereal boxes for the included breakfast. That was not enough to feed my family. We were not impressed with anything at the motel. The street to get into it was scary as well. Not a safe feeling at all.
