The staff was very friendly. It was great having the continental breakfast every morning. The rooms were clean, as was the pool and the pool area. We enjoyed the Sunday cook-out. Loved the place and also within walking to the strip as well.Would like to go back to the Blue Moon in November of 2015. Thanks Thomas Grand Canyon Arizona. I have enjoyed my stay at Blue Moon thanks to excellent staff. I do recommend the hotel to everyone seeking for DL adventure in Las Vegas. Great place to stay. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to other gay travelers. Loved the breakfast hrs from 07:00-11:00am. Variety for breakfast was GREAT! Facilities were clean, staff were all polite. The new landscaping by the pool looks great. The rooms are always nice and you have some of the most comfortable beds. The rooms were amazing. The Sunday BBQ was so much fun. Overall it was such a great time I wish I had stayed longer. These were the nicest people. They did everything to accommodate me. I would definitely stay again. Quiet, peaceful, great breakfast food, clean and all guest and staff were polite and respectful. Like the pool and jacuzzi area. The beds are some of the most comfortable we have experience. The Bed was comfortable. wish there had been a couple more choices for breakfast items. waffle maker etc. Only thing that sucks is the location..you definately need a car or cab to even get to a casino or the 7-11. Mostly freeway that surrounds the hotel and makes it impossible to walk anywhere without getting hit by traffic. I was very happy with my stay and have no complaints. The bed---it seems like they are using old water bed frames and as they are bigger than normal bed frames, it made it difficult getting in and out of bed or even just sitting on the side of the bed, which you had to do quite often since there is only one chair in the room. A bit hard to get from the strip, but that was my fault. I really couldn't fault the property. The tv channel options were quite limited. You have one network four times. Your listing was outdated. Some minor renovations were underway limiting some of the parking area but was well managed and it did not pose a problem. The TV channels need to be worked on. 4 or 5 channels of the network: TNT is a bit excessive. 1 - the first 2 days of my arrival I could not use the pool. (Very dirty). 2-too much noise from the doors to acseso the wet area. 3 - not solve the drawbacks presented. 4-no transportacion. N/a. Internet was too slow/weak. Nothing. The breakfast could be a little better, but was ok. The only gay resort in Vegas Towel/ washcloth rack above toilet fell off the wall when I closed the door. Made for a poor first impression upon arrival. I had to leave. staff could be a little more knowledgeable about deals they have going on at the hotel or through the hotel. Your key doesn't open the front door. If you come in late you may have to wait outside 10 mins for someone to let you in the hotel. The clock in the room was 2 hours behind the time. Dead cockroach bugs in hallways,boards onside of bed were painful to legs when exiting from bed, housekeeping entered room despite do not disturb placard on door, some lighting controls did not work, front door security/entrance run haphazardly, breakfast all carbs, almost no protein. foam soap in shower (prefer a bar of soap) a few more regular tv channels. also a cord on the key so you could carry it on your arm if you "play" in the video room etc.most bath houses and resorts have this.... I did not have a vehicle. Blue Moon is not close to the strip. The property looks a bit disstressed. The pool area lacks vegitation. No water/sink in the kitchen. my room was not as clean as it should have been. i would have liked better toiletries in the bathroom. soap dispensers on the wall and in the shower was a little cheesy. They could use a little remodeling, the bathrooms need it. One of the bathroom towels had, what looked like make up on it. No bar... That sucked. I had to go out to drink and I would rather do that at the property. I didn't get to spend enough time at the property. Only one night. The price. $180 for one night in a small room and not that many amenities seems unreasonable. I would stay again if it was under $100. Bathroom was not very well maintained, had a faulty light switch, one of the exhaust fans made loud noises when you first turned it on. The first time I pooped in the toilet it clogged up. Took two hours for them to bring me a plunger. Had one of the executive suites and it came with two very low grade TV's. Screws were falling out of the door knobs. The owner of the facility was a real snob. We were in room 310 on the 3rd floor.
