One involved a room too far from the elevator as my wife was on crutches and had difficulty getting around.   Stayed there on business a few times so knew what to expect. Fan static room, for the price you wouldn't get anything as good on the strip. No slot machines, decent gym and decent breakfast. - I love the full size fridge, the individual bedrooms on opposite sides of the main "living area". The view was AMAZING from the living room!!!

  My wife and I have found the Candlewood Suites a great chain. You will not be dissapointed with this Las Vegas Hotel. Ok it is not directly on the strip but its only 10 mins by foot which suited us. At night it was quite and it also has plenty of parking. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished.   I liked the Rodeway Inn Convention Center because the location was great! We only had to walk for 5 minutes to get to the Strip. We enjoyed the pool and the room was nice and newly painted.
