The hotel was really great. The concierge was more than helpful. Ilios and s3 restaurants were great (order a sandwich and a salad splitted into two plates if you want to share with your couple at Ilios) as well as the Starbucks located on the first floor. The Starbucks prices are at hotel prices (expensive). The pool area is average, sometimes packed if the hotel is full. The location of the beach is just in front of the hotel and you will always find a spot; you can request towels directly at.
all reviews » Good room with nice big bed (king). We had a suite which is nice because breakfast in America is not what it is in Europe (so you can make your own in the kitchen ;)). Staff was good, although it sometimes took some time for them to answer the phone. It's nicely located, and the balconies give a nice view of the city and/or the see. The room and beds very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was always cleaned at a convenient time for me. The pool staff were good and the size of the pool very good. The coffee shop on the ground floor very good and economical for snacks and drinks, especially with children. The staff and guest services were out of this world, my fiance and I had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the King suite and it was well worth the money spent, especially with the beautiful the view! We loved the privacy and tranquility the hotel provided and we will definitely be back again. -location of, and access to, hotel is excellent. -pool overlooking beach - room (King Jr. Suite) excellent for 2 people, liked having kitchenette - enjoyed cafe at bottom of hotel - serving Starbucks, homemade pizzas, nice outdoor seating area -very professional/friendly staff. Loved the King Suite with the water view. We stayed on the 25th floor and we loved the view. We could see the ocean and the intracoastal. Also we were very pleased with the staff, especially bellhop Mark and Eline at the front desk. (I think Eline was her name.). The staff were very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Standard of service and facilities was outstanding. Lots of nice unexpected touches. Would definitely stay there again. It was a pleasure to stay at this Hilton. Actually, I was told by a representative from letsbookhotel.com that my credit card had been charged for the cost of our hotel stay, then when we get there, I am now alone w/ 3 children, am going thru a divorce, and this was my big treat to my kids, who have been to hell and back. So long story short, they said they must have had difficulty with the pre-booking, give us a room, then after two nights, the manager gives us one hour to pay our charges and leave the hotel. So what was supposed to . Room was spacious, staff was wonderful, and location was great. The reservation by letsbookhotel.com assigned us a small room, yet comfortable. I did not have a kitchenette. The cleaners were not the best, and all lower staff is looking for tips all the time (this might just be the American wage-system though). For a luxurious hotel we found that the seats on the balcony were very small and uncomfortable (if you like spending time on the balcony...). The restaurant on the 6th floor poor. The interior dark and un-inviting, considering this is a beach side location. The quality of food poor. The price of the in room movies excessive at $19! The valet parking $33 makes hiring a car more expensive, plus the necessary valet tipping. - expensive extras (valet parking; constant tipping for car service, pool/towel service). External decor is a little tired, especially around the pool area. This did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday but lets down an otherwise excellent hotel. The only fault was that the furniture needed to be replaced and little more cleaning. I only stayed 3 nights. Seriously I could not complain even slightly about anything. toilet in the suite was leaking water, shower knob almost fell off,, staff was informed,upon exit. The valet was overprice especially for location.GYM small,not much weights.Lots of machine. Terrible smell of burning wood in the lobby (and sometimes in the rooms, too ). Valet parking was expensive and service slow. Breakfast was not good value for the money either. Kitchen utensils very basic; why have a full kitchen if you can not cook there anyway?. The breakfast area is rather small and seemed to be a bit unorganized. Some people had to wait for a long time to be seated. nothing really. gym was a little lacking maybe, but that's if I have to choose something. Jacuzzi tub was broken in room 1112. Filled tub with water and black/brown came from the drain. Reported it but could not be fixed. nothing. Being a long walk from the restaurants, having to pay for a lounge at the beach. Long wait for a lift (elevator) arriving. Reception too small for the size of the hotel which becomes too busy at check-in/out peak hours. There is no self parking. expensive valet parking. Price of room service. Rooms small for the price and valet parking a little salty. Parking to expensive the parking is more expensive that the parking ticket, parking should be free after I paid $300 for a room. nothing everything was just peachy. The seating process at restaurant was cumbersome. Promised an ocean view and did not receive what we paid for. When asked to change from room they were not able to accommodate us. Our view was the 6th floor beneath us where everyone was sun bathing above the cabanas. We had no privacy what so ever. Will not be returning to this location again. Pool was not clean, there were plastic plates at the bottom of the pool and the bottom of the pool was also very dirty.
