it was a very nice 5 star hotel, which was absolutely worth any penny paid! nice environment, just behind Burj Dubai, nice and quiet, brand new hotel, nice interior design, good location, nice staff and lots of facilities in and out of hotel. Beautifully appointed room in the executive wing. Access to theExecutive lounge and business center was a nice perk. The gym has goodequipment. The mall is a few steps away and has bars, restaurants,grocery, pharmacy,coffee shops.

The price. service is kind of slow.The fact that I only could check into my room at 18.00 was very anoying. It is also not mentioned that there is a massive, noisy building site next door. Taxi were never available and it took ages to call one. The surroundings and therefore the view were of construction chaos. The check in time is 15:00 but I get my rooms at 19:00. Getting there with all the construction was a hassle.Contstruction noise 24/7 is unbearable at times. Yes, there were no signs of reasoning, as well as the lack of shops form an. The price is really high. I spent about $700 pe night. There are beautiful hotels in beautiful places like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Nice and Cannes, to name a few, that are not even nearly as expensive. Also I was told on the web site that there's a lake adjasent to the hotel. When I arrived, I was told that it's drained for maintanance. This is a new hotel and in area of large construction so views are notgood and there is a lot of construction noise currently. Once all iscomplete this will be a very nice location. No tea and coffee makingfacility in the room.The hotel area is full with constructions. the front desk staff need more training to reach the 5 stars standard. (there is valet parking). the price of restorants is vary expenseav / no plaing area for baby /. Very expensive drinks and food.the resturant rates were so high. the speed of roomservice. You have to keep asking for things esp room supplies, tea etc. Once we had checked in the hotel and handed over our money then staff seemed to lack interest in looking after us. We had to wait a long time to be served at the pool and we had to ask 3 times for our room to be cleaned. Not very efficient.construction site.
