The best price/quality ratio!
Center of the city (15-20 minutes walk to Maidan), separate room for two persons (it is not a hostel with 15 beds) and less than $35 per night (for two persons)!
Really kind personell - we did not have Ukranian currency to pay for taxi and she went down to pay for our taxy. We paid back this debt and paid for the room only next evening when we changed money.
After check-out (11 a.m.) you can free of charge left your luggage in the "room" of administrator and see . all reviews »
Hotel close to the metro stop, 5 minutes by walk. The room was clean as the toilet and bathroom.
Irina, the host, she' s very friendly and helpful! Everything is good for us. Thanks.
The hotel is located in the city centre and in a walking distance to all major sightseeings. The room #1 is big, clean and light. You have free water and catering. Internet works.
We we re allowed to check out at 1:30 instead of 11. Also all the necessary staff like which was not in the room (iron, nife etc.) was provided to us after requesting.
Close to metro station 'Olympiski', that is to say 2 stations from the central square. Nice staff, clean and usefull room.
Close to the Metro stations, good location, nice stuff.
Microwave in corridor, water boiler in room.
Comfortably, very friendly staff.
The location is good - close to the center and to the underground. Rooms
are clean and quiet.
I liked how friendly the caretaker was (Kseniya) and that the facility was quiet.
In the city centre - a very convenient location; there are just two
neighbour rooms - not too many people. In case one comes to go
sightseeing and is not going to spend much time in, it's exactly
what one needs.
The staff was helpful, but spoke almost no english. it made arrival a HUGE problem. it was fairly convenient to public transport.
Very dark outdoors without any lamps. However it seems to be safely in the center of Kiev, but still a little bit scared.
It was cold and it was no any cover in the room or additional heating.
Old lift to get the 6th floor. Staff doesn't speek english.
Determine the location is very hard, there are no markings/symbol where this hotel it is.
The entrance to the hotel is uninspiring. It is actually an apartment in
a normal building, with grim entrance, no lights and no sign of the
hotel. So, it was difficult to find it and scary in the evening. I think
it can be ok for someone familiar with such living conditions, but
probably not for the first time travellesrs to Ukraine.
I thought more could have been invested in the renovation. The bathroom is a bit shabby. Also, I think the flat would benefit from more open windows across the facility.
Everything's pretty old. The hostess doesn't take pains to clean
the bathroom and the toilet every day. No kitchen (even common), no
fridge and sink - very inconvenient.
The address of the hotel uses the OLD street name, not the one on the actual street signs! To make it worse, the check-in info email was entirely in cyrillic, which meant i had no idea how to get into the unmarked apartment building. i ended up wasting well over an hour trying to find it. if you don't speak Russian/Ukrainian, i would strongly recommend other accomodation. Also, this was listed as a B&B, but it's just a converted apartment with no breakfast.
