Yak Hostel was a great hostel, only 15 walking minutes to the independence square. The hostel is situated on the 16th floor of business building, therefore we had an impressive view over the whole city, some rooms had direct view on the Olympic stadium. Close to the hostel (situated in a business district) there are many restaurants and cafes.We stayed in the hostel for 4 nights, 3 of them we were the only hostel guests. There is a 24 hour reception and most of the staff is willing to give you.
