Extremely friendly staff. Girls on the front desk spoke English and it was no problem checking in at midnight. The concierge was very helpful and spoke a number of languages. Hotel is central and within walking distance to many places. There is a Metro station just around the corner for longer trips or the staff can call a taxi. Rail tickets can be purchased through the concierge and delivered to your room saving a trip to the main station and standing in a long queue. My rail ticket was print.

Aliman greets you at the door with a cheerful smile. He speaks 5 languages, including English. The rest of the staff is also very helpful and speaks English. The room are excellent, but very inexpensive and the free morning breakfast is magnificent. I had planned on staying for 3 days, but I've extended my stay for 10 days. 1. I like this hotel, first of all, because of its location: it is located in the very center of the city and it is close to two metro stations. 2. The buffet-style breakfast offer is much better than it used to be a couple of years ago. It is clean, convenient, and cheap. The restaurant in the hotel is great. The food is awesome. And it is right in the middle of Kharkov, just steps away from the great square. The doormen are excellent!. This was an excellent room, the floor was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. Decor of room, carpet was old and worn. The lobby looks very luxurious, but the other floors (at least mine) looked pretty much soviet style, as did the bathroom. I asked the lady at the front desk for a map of Kharkov, and she did not know what to do. These things should be available at the front desk. minimal English-language friendly; A/C extra cost;. No any. Room wasmvery old fashioned and looked bad although was clean enough. Room small, oldfashioned, also rather small bathroom, not modern, old small TV (but working). (1) It was a kind of strange - to have tea cups & saucers & spoons in the room and not equipping the room with an electric kettle and perhaps a couple of tea- or coffee bags... (2) no shower-hook in the bath... (3) water-pressure in the shower is almost negligible.. The rooms are a bit old. The hotel needs a renovation. Carpets need replacement now. Wooden floor, so you can hear the guests above you strolling. Everything.
