    Location watching bird life on the river during breakfast. Also handy for mountains in glen Sheil and cuillins. Clean. Good breakfast, lovely strong coffee.     The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They went the extra mile. The atmosphere was calm, organised, friendly, not stuffy, felt at home straight away. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and cosy.     The hotel is very confortable, quiet and stylishly decorated. The food is outstanding and the staff are very welcoming.     We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the lovely barman, we ordered drinks and had a spot of lunch, which was a simple sandwich, just what we wanted! By the time we finished our lunch the room was ready, we were show to our room, and it was fantastic! ... what people say » A huge king size bed, which was the most comfortable bed ever! The room was warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and a fabulous view from the window, - My husband and I traveled here with our 3 month old son and had a wonderful stay. The island is so beautiful and we very much enjoyed being in a remote part of it. We were in the main building on the second floor, so we had a lovely view of the lakes and wifi reach our room (even though I know they like you to become "unplugged" for a bit). The fireplace in the sitting room was so nice. We sat by it for several hours one evening as our son laid on a blanket next to it...he had never seen a fire
