  its is nicely situated on the east of Cheltenham ideally for walkers and business people. The staff are nice and friendly you get a good welcome and the owners will greet you when you arrive or see you off when you leave. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean there`s a few little added touches in every room. for walkers they have a boiler ... what people say » room for drying your clothes etc, for business people nice place if you do not want the hassle of the town to stay. you get a grt selection for your b - This welcoming hotel just outside Cheltenham is on a quiet section of the A40, with views across the garden to the hills beyond. You can easily get into Cheltenham by bus and there are lots of walks in the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a conservatory, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try but the menu looked attractive). There are plenty of books and newspapers if you prefer to stay indoors.   It was the first time we had travelled with a young baby and staff were very supportive initially over the telephone then in person, providing a travel cot in the room and a high chair at meal times. The food was reasonably priced and very good, and the rooms were modern and quiet.   I was within walking distance of the General Hospital to be near my daughter when she was a patient. A similar distance in the other direction took me to the High Street where I filled my time in the shops and a cafe, and was met with friendliness and courtesty at Reception. Very friendly host. Will definitely visit again. - Clean and comfortable. Pleasant decor and furnishing. Helpful friendly and courteous proprietor. I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

  The hotel was nice and modern and we received a good welcome on our arrival. Good parking facilities and the bar was also a nice surprise! We walked into the town centre during the day (approx. 10 mins), however, a taxi was necessary during the evening.   staff where all great - I stay here quite often for this reason. The breakfats was great all fresh, and the Exec room is well worth the upgrade, the complimentary items in teh friedge cover half teh upgrade cost, and its good to have a fridge in the room, wifi is also good signal - the staff where really friendly, couldnt belive I was on a motorway... what people say » lovely views of fileds, thought Breakfasts was exceptional value and all fresh, great little hotel to recomend

  A first class welcome. This even included coming out to the car park to see that we had negotiated the electric gates OK. The owners made us feel like their own personal guests. The building is breathtaking and lovingly restored. Our room was steeped in history, luxuriously appointed, amazingly comfortable and only two minutes from the main stre... what people say » et attractions, yet absolutely peaceful. The continental breakfast was the perfect detoxification and delightfully varied. We would not hesitate to re - The ambiance was true old world English. It is in the best location Painswick. I thought Painswick was the most charming town in the area. The Manor was beautiful. The owners were charming and took us under their wings. Te staff was friendly and efficient. We will be back. It is also close to train service.
