  As we were in Jersey to visit our son who lives in St Helier it was so easy to use public transport rather than taking our hire care in the evenings The views of the beach etc. The lovely decor of public rooms in hotel and the bedroom was excellant even though we looked onto the car parking area. - Clean, spacious single room with double bed and... what people say » ample storage space. Really felt at home if this hotel could be faulted i would be very surprised, everyone seemed to be treated as individuals and catered for as required. We stayed there during the blizzard weather and the staff (especially reception) were super helpful and accommodating, updating us on the whole shut down situation with ferries etc. Reception even found us a lift down to the port amongst all the closed roads and madness!   Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms are fine - plenty of storage space for a long holiday. Breakfast was excellent - wide selection of cereals, fruit etc on the buffet and an excellent hot breakfast - cooked to order and all served nice and hot. The hotel has a great reputation for it's food - an extensive fish and seafood menu a - A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever
