This is not your regular hotel. For a start you get a full kitchen area with dishwasher and microwave. The room is large, spacious and well designed. Bathroom is funky designer with a great walk in shower and brilliant shower - loads of water and kept to temperature! Flat screen tv I can plug my laptop in to watch movies, very, very comfy bed. Why would I go home!! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable too, recommending a great little restaurant across the road (Try Thai!) I went for the baseme.
all reviews » We had a Grand Studio on the 4th floor and there was no noise from outside or other rooms. We stayed on a Saturday so we did expect some noise. The room we had was lovely with a Super King size bed. The room was quite large and also contained a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, cutlery & plates, iron, hair dryer, free wi fi, flat screen tv with Internet access. Also, you had to be out of the room x 11am but for an extra £10 you could stay in the room until 1pm. Breakfast was simple but nice and. We went up to Manchester for a weekend away including a night out clubbing. Roomzzz was perfect. We stayed in room 208 (grande studio) which was a really good size, had a lovely two-person rainfall shower system and a very comfortable bed, and had all the features as advertised on letsbookhotel.com and their website - kitchenette, tv with Mac computer, wifi, iPod docking station etc. We weren't disturbed at all by noise from outside or from in the building and the location was really convenient. The room was fantastic, very stylish and comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for cooking small meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel shop had snacks, meals etc and wasn't too expensive. Hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Manchester with a tram stop just a couple of minutes walk. Grab n Go breakfast had hot drinks, fruit juice, pastries and fresh fruit which was the perfect quick breakfast!. Spotlessly clean, large, modern, contemporary apartment, which was newly furnished. We stayed in a Grande Studio (no 016) which consisted of a comfortable double bed, 2 flat screen TV's 2 Mac computers, luxury bathroom with large walk in shower, and a great compact modern kitchen pod. Whilst you could get cheaper in a budget hotel, you would not get the same standard of accomodation. First Class. I stayed here on the 24th of may, it was surprise for my other half as a anniversary treat. The room was gorgeous. We booked a grande studio and was in room 206. The view and layout of the room was amazing. I would 100% recommend to anyone only downfall is the price is a little high. I liked the size of the room and the facilities it offered from the dishwasher tablet, washing up liquid and tea towel to the docking station. The location was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. Nice touch was the breakfast to go. I would definitely stay there again. As the room was very large it would have been great to have a dining table and chairs. that we had to leave!!!:(. The location is a little bit of a walk away from the main shopping area of Manchester, and the walk was quite daunting with the mulitude of shopping bags we had to carry, but that can't be helped. The bathroom floor gets wet easy, especially when using the shower. The shower pressure was a little weak. They didn't provide me with an in-room safe. bathroom amenities were modest. The bathroom towels were overused. Loved it all. The room felt cold when we first went in and although we turned the air con up it wasn't much warmer when we returned. To be fair I could have rung reception but I didn't. Would have been nice if had a bath and had more complementary showergel/shampoo!. Observation: No parking. The staff give you a discount voucher for the parking facility right behind the hotel. Nothing, all excellent. Maybe - very very minor note for the ladies - the lighting is a bit dimm in the bathroom for make-up purposes(if this is even worth mentioning : wife's suggestion). Toilet was too close to the wall then seated :( Bathroom door would not stay closed. Not much not to like!. Not things I didn't like, more improvements could do with a larger bin in the kitchen and maybe butter and milk in the fridge. Pick up breakfast. No real choice. For price too little and disappointing. Nearby parking in Q park, more expensive than most even with hotel discount. Lack of staff on desk at times - only 1 girl who was great but busy!! Noise of people passing through to lifts being able to see people sitting on loo. Bit noisy on the Saturday night due to city centre location. we didn't stay long enough. I didn't enjoy having scaffolding erected noisily outside my window at 7am, but I'm assuming this is not a regular occurrence!. Poor Breakfast. Transparent cristal doors for the toilets?? really?. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that I couldnt open the windows for some fresh air and it happened to be really warm weather when I was there.Apart from that I cannot fault the hotel. Nothing. The extractor fan in the toilet wasn't working well and because there isn't windows in the toilet, the stench stayed on for hours after using the toilet for no.2. Some of the channels didn't work on the freeview and unable to use YouTube on the Internet! Totally minor problem though, as was barely in the room. Natural light was limited in our studio room as was on lower ground floor, but this was reflected in the great price, and the rest of the room made up for it. weird buzzing noise at night, not sure what it was, could be air system or the generator of the warehouse on the opposite side.. views from window were disappointing but didnt make much difference. Nothing at all, part from that the never gave as new towels when they cleaners refreshed our room. Slight niggle but didn't detract from our enjoyable stay - the lighting in the apartments is more "mood" than "functional" and the wooden shutter louvres didn't keep out all the light. Wouldn't stop us staying there again though. I did not like that you couldn't open the windows. The plates and the cubvard on the out side was greasy. Nowhere to eat breakfast. we had to eat it on the bed of our room. there is a kitchen with everything you need. but there is no table and chairs to eat whatever you made. The wifi was slow and my devices were often out of range while in our room. Felt like a goldfish bowl or you were in a blackout , net curtains for the daytime would help . Bed ok when you are in it but at 67 being 6" off the floor tests all your joints . Top floor noisy (street noise and rain on roof). you can't open windows and with a shower and using the dishwasher it gets very warm/steamy - and you can't do anything about it. Would have been useful to have a DVD player in the television. The pillows. Noisy guests getting in late/ getting up early. The seating in living area wasn't comfy to lie on to watch tv. Tv in the bathroom only connected to 2 channels.
