Being a new hotel, it was very clean, the rooms were great (loved the showers). As the purpose of our trip was shopping, the Ramada is quite close by taxi to the Trafford Centre. Didnt eat in the hotel restaurant but as I passed, one customers dinner looked fantastic, I also heard another guest comment that their food was wonderful.Bar staff were very professional and friendly. The hotel was fabulous,very clean and the location was brilliant,a few minutes walk from Old Trafford Grounds,Lowry Centre and just a taxi ride to the Trafford Centre and Arndale Centre.The staff were so welcoming and so helpful in every way,especially as we had our 7year old daughter with us and they couldn't have being more helpful and understanding.all reviews »
The friendly atmosphere created by approachable and helpful staff. The great location. Spontaneous action of staff to meet situations eg catering thoughtfully for those attending events in local area - changing service and times. Many thanks. Very nice modern room with the most stunning view of the docks. Sparkling clean with fresh towels every day. As I did not have my laptop with me I could use the TV monitor to access my emails.An exceptional hotel that has very comfortable rooms, obliging and pleasant staff, a good restaurant and is in a great location to go to Old Trafford to see Manchester United. We were very surprised at how gorgeous the hotel was, especially because of the price we paid. It was extremely good value. I will definitely stay at The Ramada again.That it was really handy for all the locations I was visiting.
Trafford park is just over the road too and not too far to the Trafford Centre for great shopping. It was an ideal venue for staying in Manchester as we were on a shopping trip and found it convenient for the tram which would bring us to shopping centres etc..Everything you could want,.. hairdryer, facilities to make that important early morning cuppa!,...Lovely bed , great TV...it was lovely! The bathroom was superb. Lovely hotel, great price, warm staff, easy reach of central Manchester and right on the Salford Quays - there is nothing to not like about this hotel!. Rooms were of a very high standard hotel was very clean and we ate in the resturant and the food and service was excellent would stay there again. Excellent staff. Fantastic breakfast for the money . We even got freshly cooked poached eggs beautifully presented.Best Sound proofing ever. The staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and The location to Old Trafford was perfect less than 10min walk. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Went to see manchester united playing manchester city and also attendedbranch conference and dinner at old trafford. the location of hotel was ideal for our purpose as we were attending match and also near shopping centre and tram. Alas, for two out of the 3 morning I stayed there, the fire alarm was checked out without any warning to the guests. Though I liked the lighting feature using mixed sized light spheres in the dining area, the light bulbs aren't environmentally correct. Long life spherical bulbs would emit much more light, look much better and use far less energy. An all round improvement suggestion.It was just the parking problem really as I travelled and arrived on my own, I didnt want to be parking at a nearby multi storey and having to walk alone back to the hotel. Reception staff not too clear about getting us a morning paper. I couldn't fault the hotel on anything. I didn't like the fact that I could find no fault with anything.Breakfast quite expensive. We thuought the price of the drinks wasrather expensive and i did email/put a comment on my booking about a rquirement before we arrived and this was not answered.The restaurant has Italian food which I like but I dont think there were sufficient "plain dishes" for those people who like simple food. The food is best avoided.

By Car
From the West (M62):
- Stay straight ahead at junction 12, where the road becomes the M602.
- At junction 3 of the M602, follow the A5063 (Salford Quays) onto Trafford Road.
- Follow this road until you see Tesco Metro on the left-hand side.
- Go straight on at the traffic lights and take the next left for the hotel car park.
From the East (M62):
- Take junction 12 from the M60 which becomes the M602 (signposted to Salford).
- At junction 3 of the M602, follow the A5063 Salford Quays onto Trafford Road.
- Follow as above.
From North M6/South M6:
- Stay on the M6 until you reach junction 21a for the M62 Manchester. Then follow the above directions from M62 West
From South M56:
- Follow signs for the A5103 Manchester.
- At junction 5 of the M60 (this is the end of the M56) follow signs for Stretford and continue on the M60 until you reach the turn-off for the M602 at junction 12.
- Then follow the above directions for the A5063.
From the city centre:
- Follow signs for A56 Chester. This will take you onto Deansgate and lead you onto Chester Road.
- Signs will say Old Trafford Cricket Ground/Trafford Park/Salford A5063.
- Continue on the A56 until you reach White City Retail Park. Then follow signs for A5063 Salford, until you have crossed the iron bridge.
- The hotel is situated on the right-hand side. To get to the hotel you need to make a U-turn at the 3rd traffic light after the iron bridge.
By Metrolink Tram
From Piccadilly station:
