The owners were really down to earth and genuinely caring and helpful. Great people! Excellent room! Very inviting!. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. The room was very clean. The attention of the hotel staff and the way they dealt with the admin.as above. friendly staff. Helpful staff. The rooms were quite modern but very small.
all reviews » it was close to the city centre,and the traford centre. The 'style' of the room was modern and very nice.The bed was comfortable. Cheap and Cheerfull. Man on desk did try to help. Going home. nothing. The room was a little small. The hotel is situated on a very busy road in Manchester and there was no real indication apart from the number about where it was. The sign above the door could not be easily seen from the road.I was a bit unsure of how safe its location was at night. hard to find sign post needed even taxi could not find. my room was the smallest i have ever stayed in and my room was next to a main road. very noisy all night. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No soap. Shower out of order. I did not like the fact that all rooms had to share 1 bathroom which meant sharing the shower, bath, toilet. The bedrooms only had their own individual hand basin. Also, the blinds on the bedroom window did not close properly and looked right into next doors window. as i thought it was a bed and breakfast i thought the service would have been better!and their people banginga round between 2 and 3 in the morning (prob due to the wooden floor). Being in the basement, listening to a broken drain outside the window that we had to have open as there was no vent for the shower. The smell of damp from the shower was overpowering on entering the room. The toilet floor was dirty particularly behind the door. If these things were attended to, it was acceptable. The room was really cold and no in room tea making facility. Only Had one Working bathroom in the whole hotel!. i have recently made a major complaint to letsbookhotel.com about this hostel - no way could it be called a hotel more like a yha which i will be visiting this weekend. i am awaiting an answer to my complaint and expect a full refund. Been charged almost full price for only l room which also has no hotwater at all. Having a mattrass on the floor. It's not a hotel!!! It's just a terraced house in a very rough part ofManchester suburb. Noisy, dirty (bedding!), poor facilities (1 bath, 1loo for 15 guests), staff has no idea about running the place. We weregiven a tiny room in the cellar (!), smelled of dump, shower did notwork, all there was tv, unit, wardrobe and bed. Believe all the badreviews! The good ones simply aren't true...This hotel can only be described as a flea pit and I would not let my dog stay here. Not hot water, further out of town then suggested in information, adveritsed as free internet avaliable, however there was a cost involved to use net.
