The rate (60 quid) and the breakfast! Also within walking distance of the MEN arena where I saw the fabulous Neil Diamond in concert - a cracker of a show as always. Also good parking facilities, a health club on site (did not have time to use), and a strong shower. I liked the fact that we could use the pool and other facilities whilstwe were staying there. I also was really pleasantly suprised by thebreakfast menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were politeand attentive. Would stay there again.
all reviews » The atmosphere in the Hotel is very warm and friendly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent for MEN, bars and restaurants and for shopping in the city centre. Have stayed here before and will stay here again. I got an excellent rate, presumably because I stayed on a Sunday. I paid £35 and at that rate this was the best value hotel I have ever stayed in. The leisure facilities are second to none and everything else is up to standards of large chains.I requested a quiet room and was given one. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming. I ordered breakfast in my room which arrived promptly. Very friendly staff, efficient and willing to attend to any requests.Room was very comfortable and amenities good. Would definitely staythere again.Just everything - it was first class for our purposes of a one night stay. Will certainly use again for either one night or for longer in the future. The only down side was that a Taxi cost £5 to go intotown, there was a free bus though which ran near to the hotel.No. Room was a bit noisy so could have better double glazing but close totown so noise was expected.No!. Blankets instead of duvet ( small point), decor a little tired. You can't get a cooked breafast until 7.30am most business people are up and out by then its too late. Going home! : (. One of my criteria when selecting a hotel for business is the availability of free wi-fi for access to the internet. While this was available in the public areas of the hotel it did not seem to reach to the upper floors where I could have worked from the bedroom desk. Although breakfast good food evening food not so good. The room was far too warm!!. Food not up to expectations. Individual pots of tea or coffee are needed at breakfast.Toast was thin and poor.
