All the staff were friendly, (even though it was a big modern hotel)they were courteous and very helpful. A young man warmly greeted us atthe entrance when we arrived in the taxi and this warm welcome extendedto the checking in desk. Throughout we were treated as though we werethe most important customers they had (as I am sure were other guests)even though we are just an ordinary couple. We stayed in a double room that was like a one bedroom apartment whichgives you a sense of space which you do not often found at hotels inEurope. The decor was very modern with a lot extras. Considering therate we paid, this hotel is five star compared to other hotels we stayedat before. It's location with regards to transport in and around Londoncan not get any better.
all reviews » very nice hotel rooms very large clean and well kept the only downfall of hotel was breakfast was cold in the morning it had been standing far to long did complain and they took the price of the breakfast of the bill plus do not get room by the lift as the bell rings every time someone stops on your floor very annoying other than that hotel was very nice. The view from the 10th floor Junior Suite was wonderful - overlooking Waterloo and with views to Canary Wharf - there was no doubt which city you were in! The suite itself was very comfortable and it was easy to turn off the air conditioning and have a quiet night's rest - great! The service was friendly and efficient.Being so new the hotel was in pristine condition. We were upgraded to a studio with its own sitting room area, bedroom area and kitchenette between the two which gave us lots of space. The room was also very well sound proofed and we were undisturbed despite off a corridor just above the restaurant in the atrium. Great staff....hospitality center, concerige, doorman. what wonderful people your have on board. Smiling and helpful! Loved our Executive suite, perfect arrangement for a 3-generation family. Location was superb! So conveneient to local attractions and boat travel on Thames. This is a new hotel so everything was up to scratch really...staff very helpful and pleasant..top breakfast/relaxed..great rooms modern and sleek. Great location for sightseeing..London Eye, BigBen, boat trips and next door almost to Waterloo station. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, good range of room service,lovely modern hotel. Only downside, took ages to have our drinks ordertaken in the Spectrum Bar when only a few people in there! But overall,exceptional accommodation in great location.The quality of everything in the hotel was great. The staff were excellent and the location could not have been better. The staff made us feel like we were welcome and could not do enough for us. Can not wait for another chance to stay at the Plaza. Fantastic modern clean hotel! Location was excellent, we stayed in a studio room which had 2 double beds which my 3 yr old daughter thought was great! Very child friendly! If we stay in London again we will definitely use this hotel again!. Very clean and welcoming to children - giving my daughter £5 of hotel money to spend was a big hit with her. The staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The facilities were great and though it was busy it was quiet at night. We spent 2 nights in the Park Plaza and were truly amazed by the hotel. It was clean, quiet and staff were great!. very friendly and helpful staff excellent buffet breakfast and very close to the london eye and embankment pier which was the perpus of oue visit. Stayed in standard studio room with two teenage children, very spacious,like the partition between our sleeping area and the children. The laundry facilities were excellent. Providing you had your ownwashing powder you could use the great washing machines and dryers.location and Staff made our stay perfect, the Hotel Manager even sent a bottle of wine to our room for my Wife's Birthday. superb !!. Efficient and friendly staff. We upgraded rhe room; the cost of which covered breakfast and free drinks and the room was excellent.despite the fact that the hotel was full, still had a quiet calm atmosphere. Didn't treat us any different because we were younger.We have stayed in a few hotels over the last 10 yrs, but this has to be one of the best. rooms were excellent - we were given a complimentary upgrade and the rooms were great.Nice new building, very close to London Eye so an ideal location for sight seeing. Location perfect for sightseeing..London Eye etc all staff helpfuland friendly.The evening meals and drinks at the hotel bar were a bit pricey but wasto be expected so we weren't overly shocked. Two lifts were out of action and this meant some delay in getting from floor to floor - a minor point, really. The bathroom in the Junior suite has a sliding glass door which means little privacy when in the loo!. The air conditioning on its coldest setting did not cool the room sufficiently even in November. We would be very wary about staying there in the summer. None whatsoever.Having to leave!!. No, everything was spot on, the location, the price, the staff. Will definitely book and recommend again. disappointed at service charge added onto drinks and wonder why it was added onto 1 round but not another?. No, everything was Great!. Not haveing long enough there!. Whilst the bathroom was very light and modern it was difficult to get in and out of the bath, in fact my wife slipped whilst getting out and has a very sore toe which will need x-raying if it doesn't get better soon. This is not a complaint, just a suggestion that perhaps notices could be put up warning people to be careful, or perhaps an extra handrail or non-slip mat.Glass door on bathroom. Very hard to find negagtive, have small kitchenette in room, providedalso washing up liquid for dishes, would be helpful if they provided teatowel also as no drainer for dishes. The kids meals were too fancy. Kids don't want their pasta to be greenor the chicken nuggets to be large strips of chicken breast. Bedroom was too warm. Breakfast was very dissappointing, cold????. there was no hairdryer in the twin room - the glass doors on the en-suite may not suit everyone - rather a small restaurant for the size of the hotel - there was a very large que for breakfast although we didnt have to wait too long and the staff were great.
