I come down to London every month through my job with Outward Bound, and I have never stayed in a hotel that is so close, just across the road from the London office, which is great, especially when you come from Scotland and not used to the tubes and trains. There was a problem with my door as within 5 minutes of calling, someone was there to look at it. They also offered to change my room for me. Excellent customer service.

UPgraded room due to Diamond Status. The hotel was lovely and it was situated very close to the tube station as well as being surrounded by shops. breakfast. The staff effectively sorted out a mistake with the booking system - I had been incorrectly booked in the night before - fortunately I had the confirmation slip showing correct date. Very convienient for Earls Court Oylmpia and the tube station. accessibility to tube. Location. controlable temperatures and opening windows. Excellent location close to Olympia. The price for the room. The room was ok at first.the bed was comfortable. location. Room for smokers - which is becoming more and more unusual, unfortunately. Lack of Underground service from Olympia!. The sink was blocked. There is a problem with the noise from the heating system which continued day and night. rooms could be more largerr. reception/check-in.only 1 desk manned at 18:00 on a Monday. Staff were ofhand with guests. Bedroom furniture was worn at scratched. the whole hotel needs smartening up.Room not ready on arrival. The room temperature: the room was far too hot, the air con was set at its lowest temperature, we called room service the young man that attended was unable to open the window. we had a very uncomfortable night.The room was extremely hot and the temperature gauge didn't work. I called and requested help, was told someone would be up to look at it and no one showed...for 2 days! I also called and told them that the blind was broken so the window was blocked. No one showed up again..for 2 days! Then I ordered room service and a movie. The chicken soup had bell peppers (alergy) and the movie had no sound. the full english breakfast at £17.99 was expensive when you consider it was self service buffetstyle ,plates and the food was cold or at best warm.We had a problem with the Air conditioning and the response was very very poor. Checking-in very slow. We did not get the rooms we booked. Hotel staff unable to fix the internet connection which if worked, wouldhave been extremely overpriced.The reception did not make it clear about the check in system - I have never known a hotel take money up front for a hotel room - worse than that they also took out of the account £50 per day for extras which caused huge problems for the card as it meant the card was overdrawn and paying charges and the card owner was unable to get any cash during their stay - complete lack of Customer service. The food was not very good. The kettle had a malfunction and wouldn't turn off.I had a meal in the room which was dreadful, cold and inedible - I also did not realise you had to hang the notice on the door and was woken up at 8.30 am by someone wanting to come in to clean - very noisy by the railway - could have better noise insulation. Car parking. I was informed on the confirmation that parking had been reserved. On arrival I was told no reserved parking and the carpark was in fact full! It took us 1/1/2 hours to get any parking space and this was 1/2 mile away and closed at 6.00pm. We had to resought to parking overnight on a meter. Not very satisfactory.The staff were hopeless. They did not seem to know what they were doing at all. We were even given someone elses room - all their luggage was in there!. Hotel very shabby and old. bathrom old and fix up jobs done very poor. room was terrible- filthy, grubby, crap shower, toilet seat shoogly etc.... Staff very poor, the room I booked was sold to someone else. Therefore Ihad to take a lesser room. I had booked a room only and rang a couple of days before to get breakfast rates. I was told by reservation staff that i could order breakfast when i checkedin for a reduced rate of £10 instead of the £17 but this was not honoured. no hot water. Very low level of comfort, especially for a Hilton. Due to overbooking, couldn't arrive for the first night and send an email to inform them. They didn't take it into account, and I had no room at my arrival the second night. Old hotel, sad rooms, could hear conversations in other rooms. Overall very bad exprience, very surprising for a Hilton.

The hotel is on the same side of the street as the Tube station. By Train: From London Gatwick Airport: Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station. Change here for the Circle line to High Street Kensington. From here, take the 10-minute walk to the Hilton London Olympia hotel. Walk towards Hammersmith and you will find the hotel 10 minutes away on the opposite side of the road. From London Stansted Airport: Take the Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street station and change for the anti-clockwise Circle line underground service via King's Cross and Paddington to High Street Kensington station. Walk 10 minutes from here to the Hilton London Olympia hotel. Walk towards Hammersmith; the hotel is on the opposite side of the road.
