The staff were helpful and cheerful at all times, the setting elegant and peaceful. The continental and English breakfasts were well done and satisfying. The Tube is about a block away so one can get to central London in no time. Great!. perfect location, quiet, personal very helpful, spacious rooms. Large room and bathroom on the top floor was very comfortable.Kind and helpful staff, clean spacious bedroom and bathroom, really close to the underground station, to shops and places to eat but in a nice peaceful street. Luggage storage is free, secure and organized. I'd definetely recommend it!. We had a superb room on the 2nd floor. Wind was blowing from the window to my bed. room had a somewhat must smell - but in the process of redecorating.Flush problems and very little bathroom. The room was very warm and because of the noise from the street it was impossible to have the window open during the night.not suitable for disabled or babies as no ramp for wheelchair or buggy. Tiny lift would not accomodate double buggy. Lots of small corridors and stairs. Was also charged same rate at booking tho VAT had been reduced on day of checkout. the shower was cold. Lower Ground bedroom. Had to move room due to strange intermittent noise on night one. There was no cold water in our new room and the room was very hot with no air conditioning.I took option to pay extra for room with hot tub but this was just a standard bath and should be advertised as such. The bed mattress was old and sagged. Also we had to pay a full rate for an extra 7-hour use of the room since we were checking out at 6pm for a LHR flight. Would have liked a half-day rate being offered too. Staff was not very hospitable during breakfast. The toilet in the room did not refil for 30 mins after flushing not good with 2 people using the room. the toilet bowl was dirty with a water mark ,probably because of the frrst problem. we did reort it but were onlt there one night. the hair dryer in the room did not work the staff gave us aqnother without a problem. but these issues raise concerns about levels of general maintainace?. not enough heating in such a small room. NOTHING. The room was very low class, everything was pretty old, need renovation - Windows not working properly, bathroom disgusting, furniture were fiothy, very noisy (you can everybody walking around and hear the people talking in the rooms around you). The room was in the basement and it was damp. 1. There were problems with the hot water system. 2. The closet was very poor having limited space. 3. The bathroom could use some remodeling. 4. Flushing the toilet was quite an adventure.Most definitely. I paid £72.50 to stay one night and the bed and pillowswere so hard that I got no sleep whatsoever. What a waste of money , notto mention your cheap bedding. My shower broke after the first night. I was transferred to a damp, dark room which stank so strongly of cigarette smoke that I kept waking up during the night. It was disgusting. The staff were unsympathetic and were unwilling/unable to provide another room.Have stayed at this hotel and been very happy but this time very disappointed. The room was so small one bedside light cracked toilet seat bathroom door wouldn't shut shower cold.

At traffic lights (make a U turn), move into far left hand lane. First set of lights turn left into Adelaide Road. At traffic lights turn left into Winchester Road. Swiss Cottage Hotel is the last block on the right which turns into Adamson Road. From North: Follow road signs to A41 South (West End). Drive past the Finchley Road Underground Station sign. At Swiss Cottage (where the Odeon Cinema Complex, Swiss Cottage Underground Station and Swiss Cottage Pub are), keep to the left hand lane.
