    The Hotel is a real gem and is a credit to Doreen who gives attention to detail , lovely white fluffy towels immaculate rooms a real Home that is warm and relaxed good location two sets of keys no silly rules and good quality food , Doreen is on hand to help . we would all love to stay at the Star villa again so will be booking again soon.Perfect... what people say » time to stay with the Christmas markets on with plenty to do 2 days were not enough and would have gone for longer if we could. - It was very clean and the breakfast was beautiful.     We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car. Very nice staff, they told us what to do and see ... what people say » in Edinburgh. You can enjoy some live Scottish music at the hotel. The breakfast options were a great variety and super delicious. Lovely typical Scot - the breakfasts were large with lots of toasts the bedroom was large the beds very comfy the en suite was large the location was very central and on a bus route we were given a map when we arrived with the attractions and to see we also had a night of Scottish songs and guitar from allan the owner who also told the Scottish history through pictures on a big screen which was interesting and easy listening music

    The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The premises, including the shared bathroom, were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast choice quite extensive. Breakfast itself was of high quality. Internet was fast. The location is also pretty good, about 10-15 minute walk from the Castle and Princes Street (and the airport bus line).     The efficiency and friendliness of the staff, especially in the dining room. With a Premier Inn you know just what to expect, comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcome, at a reasonable price.     Very helpful staff, clean and well presented rooms, quiet environment. One of the best hotels I've stayed at for this price, would definitely return. Very comfortable room and bed.Great night's sleep. Room service fantastic, meal incredible.     Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also.     Staff at the guest house were extremely friendly and helpful, personally escorting us to the apartment. Within 20 minute walking distance of the city centre. Clean, dust-free, all amenities. Restaurants/bars and supermarket within close proximity. Had a really enjoyable weekend. - Love the location as it wasn't too far from pubs and clubs. The breakfast is excellent, a good variety of cereals, hot food, fruit, yogurt and a seemingly endless supply of tea and toast! We were given great instructions on getting to the main part of the city and the room was comfortable and spacious with a spotless ensuite which was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. Having previously stayed in hostels when I have visited Edinburgh, this made a welcome change and I'm sure we will stay

    Having never stayed at this type of lodging we were a little hesitant and unsure what to expect after reading the reviews; however we were pleasantly surprised! We had an amazing view of the castle, and a large spacious room. Location is close to everything Edinburgh has to offer if you don't mind hills, there are lots of taxis nearby as well. Dur... what people say » ing Fringe we were limited because everyone jacks their rates but this was affordable and made our stay in Edinburgh very pleasant! - It was very clean and convenient. A reasonable price for a city location so was not put off going. I was able to be in the same flat as friend I went with. We were able to make use of the kitchen which saved money for eating out. The staff were very friendly and fun.
