  Very comfortable and relaxing, very helpful and pleasant staff. The dining facilities were excellent and the lunch and dinner menus offered very good choice at great value. Everything you could need is also under one roof - comfortable rooms, bar with snooker tables and first class evening entertainment, which is far enough away not to disturb the ... what people say » peace at all. Very scenic surroundings. - Excellent hotel only a few minutes from the M60 and my meetings in Stockport, and in a nice peaceful location. Staff all helpful and friendly, and room was very spacious with nice flat screen TV and free wireless internet.   We were two friends staying in Manchester for 5 nights, going to a game and wanting to check out the city in the meantime. When we arrived we were welcomed and they took us to our room. We told them about our visit to England and when we came back and were on our way to the main city, Sid, the host, had already printed out map for us about the cit... what people say » y, the bus and train times and took more then 20-30 minutes out of his day to help us and make our traveling easier. Very friendly greetings and nice - The hotel is a half an hour (very slow journey) bus ride from the city centre but I did get to see another part of Manchester, which I wouldn't have otherwise done. The very quick train from the city centre to Guide Bridge is 6 minutes and the hotel is 15 mins' walk from the station. Not having to dash about (as I do most days), I rather liked the chance to stretch my legs so the initial off-the-beaten track impression was in the end favourable.   The hotel was quite new and the rooms were beautiful. I particularly like the dressing mirror with the hairdryer and plug for straighteners etc. In so many hotels, you have to search around for a plug for your hairdryer and then it is not near a mirror - Premier Inn obviously understand a woman's requirements.
