The staff were very friendly, the room was large,warm,clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was the best I've eaten!!. The stay proceeded smoothly and was enjoyable. Central location. Hotel staff helpful. hospitality. One of the best hotels i have ever been in for the price large clean and comfy 10 out of 10 from me. Close proximity to city centre and to my place of work.

The location is ideal for anyone seeking to use the transport links, be it trains or buses, outside of Aberdeen. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom had just been refitted. It was excellent.The lift could not be recalled to the fifth floor. I had to walk down the stairs to the 4th floor to catch the lift. There were no corrective action taken by hotel staff to correct this after three or four complaints. Previous blogs mentioned the problem with the lift. The couch in the lounge had major tears in in and the lounge carpet had large amount of duct tapes holding it down. Accessibilty from railway station.location. I liked the old building. And the staff specialy Aurelia were very helpfull with local knoledge.Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel room was very comfortable and set out nicely. Reception staff gave us a key for the same room as someone else and my partner walked in on someone getting changed, and when I spoke to reception about it the lady was rude. The hotel is starting to look rundown and could be doing with re furbishment. The room was very cold and could do with some updating. There were some areas unused or under renovation, for instance the bar was closed. However this seemed to be reflected in the price.Access from car park a little difficult as my husband is disabled. the breakfast was a bit poor. oulook from bedroom window, cans, litter and discarded roof slates also unable to secure window closed. Light in bathroom flickering, leaking bar ceiling - water dripping onto bar, noise from station refurbishment. Problems with restaurant service, hot water, electrics, lights, radio, kettle, clock and bathroom extractor fan. The room especially the bathroom (which was like a sauna) was far too hot and could not be regulated. Poor condition of public areas. Limited choice of TV channels. Parking, no marked bays and I was blocked in delaying our leaving by 1hour. Staff finally helpful when pressed. No effort had been made toreduce carbon emissions, I.E. disposable plastic glasses, roomtemperature too high, individually wrapped plastic soaps, etc. Thishotel could save itself a lot of money by being greener. Bathroom already reformed, so good on this. But it was too expensive for what we got. The part of the hotel I was in was very run down and worn. Dinner was very ordinary. Room price was ridiculously expensive for what was provided. lacked atmosphere. Your booking site led me to believe that smoking rooms were available. The entire hotel was non smoking. My policy is not to stay in hotels that discriminate against 25% of the population. I will not be using your service again.Room was in quite poor state of repair. View from window was a wall. Far too expensive for what you get. I think the issue I would have the station hotel is that at one point in its history it has obviously been a very nice hotel but unfortunately it has been allowed to fall into some disrepair, this made the stay interesting to say the least since most of the facilities in the room didn't work, the stair carpets have been repaired by tape etc.The standard of the publi9c areas was very poor. The hotel, once a great building. is in dire need of refurbishment. Access to my hotel room was via the dining room and bar. The hotel room I stayed in was in need of redecoration - peelingwallpaper - windows in poor condition - cracked glass and paint peelingfrom exterior frames - carpet needed vacuuming better.
