We stayed for 13 nights at The House Hotel Bosphorus in late October 2013 and had a wonderful time. During our stay we were married in a beautiful ceremony in the lounge of the hotel. With our planned wedding ceremony in mind, we chose the hotel because of its elegance and marvelous views. But one we arrived we were stunned by just how beautiful the outlook, the building and the surrounding area actually were. View - if you get the room on the upper floor with Bosphorus view you will enjoy it either in the morning or in the night - the view is fantastic!!! 2. Room and overall comfort - it is perfect: delicate classical interior, nice balcony, lots of sun-light even in the bathroom - the walls are made of glass. All bathroom equipment is of good quality and replaceble on a daily basis as well as sheets and pillow-covers. 3. Personnel - I have never . Loved the staff friendliness and hospitality, they were always smiling and offering to help in any way possible, service was fast, rooms were clean and simple yet elegant, the location was great as it was on the bosphorus and a walk away from a couple of coffee shops and enroute to some of the main attractions in the city, as well as being a few steps away from some of the best lounges in Istanbul and I would recommend going there as a couple as the experience feels more towards that type of vi. it is one word "PERFECT" stuff makes you feel like lovely family they are all kind and helpful i love them all, They should open school for all hotels to teach them how to make guest happy and satisfied , this is my first time that I cant see anything wrong from a hotel ,I enjoyed stay there it is must to visit the hotel again. Location ,breakfast and rooms clean. I have visit allot of hotels around the world but I never see like this perfect before. The staff were excellent; helpful, attentive and friendly. The location was heavenly - the views are magnificent. Room was very comfortable but a little small and there wasn't a desk which was a surprise as I was on business. Apparently there are rooms with desks so you need to ask when you book. Food was delicious and service second to none. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. My business partner,stayed there.He loved the atmosphere,hospitalety,warmness.He was so happy and loved it.Beautiful and relaxing room.Everything was excellent.I will always suggest this hotel to my business colleques.I would like to thank to hotel stuff for there hospitalety,warmness.Wonderful. I have stayed in suite it is fantastic. the location. Staff were courteous. 1. Nights clubs for someone could be anoying in the night as they work till 3-4 a.m. Problem for those who can not sleep when noisy. As well as Mosque nearby - they wake you up very early :) But it was ok for us - we find it very nice and colourful, it lets you feeling you are in this great city with it's culture, religious and traditions. not much to say here, the breakfast could use a bit more variety although it was still ok, you might feel that it is a bit pricy especially if you are staying longer than 72 hours or so...try and catch a good rate. I tried hard to find ,but there are nothing I didn't like. Very lively night life on Friday night close to hotell. It was a bit noisy, but that is to be expected in Ortakoy with all the night clubs. It was quite noisy due to the clubs and restaurants around. Also, the lobby was too small and it wasn't other place to relax and socialize inside the hotel. taxis cant reach to the front of the hotel . small rooms small elevator. there is no cupboard space in the rooms & no hooks to hang your things which is a bit inconvenient if you are staying for a few days.no shelving in the bathrooms. The real and maybe only problem is the noise from the clubs adjacent. It was like full on disco until around 2 in the morning and is unfortunately a real issue with this hotel. I felt it was like someone was having a very loud party in the next room. It would have been a ten out of ten but for the noise which would be a challenge for most people I would have thought. A shame. If not for the location the rates would be high. We slept well with ear plugs. nothing. Hotel is by the sea therefore one expects to breathe fresh air when the windows are open but unfortunately the outdoor units of the air condition boxes placed on the roof top next door pollute the air dramatically. The bad odor coming from those units caused a little discomfort. No parking lot!. the only bad thing was the noisy outside the hotel and desco music which is start from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am. Nothing. if you stay in the 5th floor you have to take the stairs from the 4th floor to the 5th....nothing serious. The rooms were too small. The night club made so much noise at night. Terribly noisy. There is a disco next to the hotel and one cannot sleep without ear-plugs which are kindly supplied on demand by the hotel front desk.
