The staff at Bulvar Palas are not just good -- they are exceptional. Everyone spoke fluent English, were accommodating beyond belief (we arrived at 6 a.m. hoping just to check our bags while we went sightseeing and they offered to rush making up a room for us so we could get in there at 10 a.m. without being asked). They also let us check out late without hassle. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked with toiletries, and exceptionally clean. We didn't use the in-hotel spa, but it als.
all reviews » Everything! The hotel is great! Due to my business life I am staying in hotels more than a week per month but never saw soo much friendly staff and ckean hotel! It is 4 stars only in the papers, because in reality it is a 5 star hotel!!! Even when we had a problem with a taxi, resemptionist came and fight with him with a sucessful end! Location is also great, 10 min by taxi from taksim and 4 tram station from hagia sofia and blue tzami. Super friendly staff and very helpful. The room was huge and extremely confortable. Location is also extremely convenient - with very cheap taxi rides you can go to the best touristic attractions in Istanbul. Location: close to places of interests, only 10 min walk from metro line to airport. Our room booking was upgraded and we got the fantastic suite with a great view over the city. Tha staff was very taugh , not gust relation to help the forgners. No shuttle bus to airport. Reception barely spoke English, the room key had our room number on it (not safe). The location of the hotel is not very good. Although the breakfast looks ok in the pictures, the quality of the goods is rather poor. I do not know the ratings of the hotels in Istanbul, however, compared to european standards, this hotel can be given at most 3 stars. bed bugs with a big bites!!!.
