Great location, just one step away from the sunset point where you could enjoy the air-balloon sunrise & city sunset scenes. We got an email with clear hotel & tour information before the trip for our early planning, but basically - pick up from the bus stop, day-tours, airport shuttle.. Etc, were all easily arranged after we arrived. We stayed in a panorama view cave which was totally amazing. Right outside our room it has a few terraces for outdoor breakfast with great views. all reviews » Arif Hotel has been built on one of the best locations. I know many people like downtown for accommodation but Arif Hotel definitely worth the twice daily 5 minutes walk. It is only a few meters below the best lookout point from which you can see clearly the hot air balloons at sunrise and the beautiful sunsets. The hotel is a multi storey structure partially carved in the rocks. The rooms are very clean, bed sheets and towels changed every second day. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh bread, diffe. The best hotel manager I ever met If there is such a thing as the perfect cave hotel this is it. Rooms have amazing views as the hotel is set on the cliff high above the city. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are large with simple decor.The bathrooms are clean and the showers are really beautiful. Breakfasts took place on the the gorgeous terrace and the selection was varied. In addiction to this, I owe the hotel owner Ahmet a debt of gratitude. My boyfriend left his passport in the hotel . We stayed at arif for 3 nights in second week of nov. ..The whether was very cold. We opted for fairy chimney room..the view from the hotel is awesome. Every morning you can see ballons right from ur hotel. Hotel is located at the sunset point. The room was very cozy and warm.The bath area in the room is separated with glass....hence its ok for a couple but difficult for friends. The hotel gives a real feel of a cave hotel. The breakfast was very nice with lots of variety and very turkish. The . It was pleasant change to stay in a cave hotel, though equipped with central heating and all the mod-cons, it wasn't too cavey. Still we had to pass through a short dark tunnel to get to our room and the walls and ceiling are actually powdery. The location is great with a panoramic view from the balcony, and it is also just one minute to the viewing platform of Goreme, if you skip up the side of the hill. There's a good restaurant two doors away but if you are spending more days here, you are . The hotel staff are very friendly. Ahmed was very helpful. Especially with all the attraction bookings. Considering I don't speak Turkish. We were there for 3 days and 2 nights and had an amazing time off. I recommend the Green Tour; wear something that fits for hiking; great lunch, which is included with the tour. The hot air balloon is a must. It is during sunrise. I reckoned not to do the hot air balloon then the Green Tour. You will be tired and not enjoy the tour; try to spread it out. Cap. Excellent location, could be the best location in Goreme. The room was outstanding! It did feel like i was staying in a cave, only with all the comfort that i would require for a great stay. Room, bed and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is in the heart of Goreme so shopping area is within a walking distance. Mr. Ahmet, the hotel manager did his best to make my stay very comfortable and suggested me a great program through email befo. Arif Cave Hotel is a lovely place to stay in Cappadocia. Kind and very friendly hosts, both Arif (father) and Ahmed (son). Everythging was perfectly organized: Ahmed picked us up from the bus station, then provided useful and interesting information about the region and places worth to see, helped us to organize a baloon flight. Cave rooms were clean and comfortable - you can see that everything is new and well designed. Great turkish breakfast was served on the terrace with an amazing view of. The father and son team (Arif and Ahmed) are excellent hosts. Ahmed in particular was very friendly and helpful. He not only helped book our balloon ride, but also gave us invaluable tips on the best places to go sight-seeing. The accommodation was also exactly what we had envisioned - a genuine Fairy Chimney room, with a breath taking view(we could even see the Uchisar Fortress in the distance), and equipped with all the modern amenities. An excellent and aesthetic utilisation of space. Ahmed . Ahmed and Arif are wonderful! Ahmed made me feel right at home right away and he was so helpful with everything! I was sure that the entire trip would go well from the moment I checked in, and I was sad when it came time to check out. We stayed in one of the cave rooms so it was a really unique and fun experience. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the city center and quiet with beautiful views from both the room and the main terrace where we had breakfast and sat to watch the stars at night. Overall, it was a wonderful experience a. Loved this hotel. We stayed in a panoramic cave room and the ottoman room and found both very comfortable and very well appointed. The bathrooms were great (especially in the ottoman room) and the showers are awesome. The hotel is in a great spot in Goreme - 5 minutes walk (uphill) from the centre of town so you get marvellous views. I will I can spend longer time here next time. Arif Cave Hotel offers an amazing hotel experience with a great location in Goreme. The commercial center of Goreme is a short walk, so it's easy to get to activities and restaurants. Ahmet, the hotel's owner/manager, is very friendly and helped to coordinate a number of activities during my stay. Our room was lovely and Ahmet readily accommodated all of our needs. The hotel's terrace also offers a striking view. Ahmet, the manager made us feel right at home. He made great suggestions as to what to do, and where to go for guided tours . Also picked us up at 05:00 in the morning himself on the date of our arrival. All round just a great guy going out of his way to make your stay as good as possible. Furthermore, the hotel is probably the highest one in Goreme, giving you spectacular 360 views every morning. Exceptional hospitality, clean and very comfortable room. Great views over Goreme and the open air museum. Just a short stroll down into the centre. The lookout just above is a must at 6.30am for a wonderful sunrise and the sight of up to 100 hot air balloons vying for space over the unique landscape. We had the ottoman room which was superb. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was great and the shower was excellent - loads of hot water and hard yo get out of!!!! I stayed in the most beautiful room in a fairy chimney with fantastic décor and lighting, with a lovely shower in one corner...it was the perfect cave corner for thought and retreat. It is very difficult to find a hotel in Cappadoccia amongst the 1000 options but Arif Cave is definitively the Cappadoccian experience comes true. We had a chimney room which was stylish, confortable and with and amazing view, which for the price we paid was perfect Ahmet is very friendly and helpful (not pushy and understanding of client's needs). Our cave room was unique with a great view of the Goreme landscape. Ahmet,the manager was an excellent host, providing us with much information and advise. The localization is perfect to see the sunset everday. Its close to downton. The staff is very helpfull. Its a cosy and clen place. I agreed with all positive comment made by previous guests. Thanks to Ahmed and family for making our holiday a superb one. We do not have any negative commet as we did not encounter any problems there. We loved everything about this hotel. Our Fairy Chimney room was magical, the views amazing and the staff exceptionally helpful. We spent seven days here and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We went during the winter, it was the best Location for Goreme View, the staff were a friendly family, they are always smiling and helping. Room were nice too! Rooms were very comfortable and the location is good. Nothing really, but I can't say I like the breakfast too much. Nothing worth mentioning. We thought breakfast could be a bit better and have a few more options (and better coffee). We also had a little bit of trouble getting our room temperature right as the cave room can become a little stuffy with the heater going (even when it's minus 10 outside)!. N/A. just a little expensive to me compared to Chinese hotels. But this is normal price for cave hotel, especailly this one is just on hill top near sunset platform If there will be hooker in bathroom it will be more convinient. That I couldn't stay longer(vacation over). Nothing. Horse riding tour (guide was angry so as the horses) Nothing to do directly with Arif thus. Nothing to complain. Except if you are not up to walking downhill or uphill to get to the town. To us it is an amazing little adventure by itself. The tiring way from the main road of Goreme up to the hotel. Needed extra pillows!. The glass in the room separating the bathroom and the bedroom could use a little curtain or so :). The only thing that wasn't perfect was the coffee at breakfast. There isn't anything we didn't like at the Arif Cave Hotel. Since it has the best view of the town which means you will have to climb up to the highest spot of the town. elder people might have issue to walk. (But I still love this HOTEL!!!). Nothing to add. There was no AC or even a fan. But the weather was good, so it wasn't a problem. It was quite a walk from the main town. cave rooms are a bit humid and dusty, but I guess I should have expected it. No steam sauna, but MANY hotels don't have that../. Wi-fi was very weak, worked only if you stood next to reception office--- but Ahmet had us use his pc when in need. Made us less "wired" good thing since we are on vacation :). The reception isn't open 24 hours a day. My balloon flight was cancelled and since I no one was there to call the balloon company I ended up waiting for a fairly long time withou knowing what had happened.
