Fabulous facilities for our 2.5 yr old with 4 water-slides, lazy river & great family pool. Loved "Mare" restaurant & "The Luna Bar" Gorgeous spa where I had a fabulous facial and massage. The staff were fabulous - very friendly & welcoming Added bonus of noon check out time. The resort was better than expected. The room was lovely with an excellent view of the sea. The staff were friendly. The resort was great for family and also relaxing.

We had a room with it's own plunge pool but because the pool never had the sun directly on it, the water was too cold to use. The hotel location and beach was nice. Our room & some of the decor is looking a bit tired The beach unfortunately had quite a lot of rubbish on it & definitely not kid friendly in terms of the surf Lots of Mosquitos so wouldn't choose a room with outdoor pool (which we didn't use) Made the mistake of not booking two rooms - nowhere for us to really sit, other than outside, once our son in bed. The selection of restaurants was limited and the food was average to good. We found the room service food better than the main restaurant at times. The breakfast was good with a good selection for everyone. Around 15-20 mins walk to the town of Karon Beach. We had one extra hour before we had to check out, but we were locked out of our room before the time of the normal check out time. This is not a complaint, but rather to let management know so it can be rectified. We enjoyed our stay completely. The room cleaning are not standard of 5 star. Breakfast so so. The price quite high. No free wifi is not good. Nothing. none. The hotel is challenginly built, getting to the room is not very easy. Staff at the reception was not very efficient, we arrived at 2:00 pm which is the stated check-in time of the hotel, but our room wasn't ready until 3:30 pm. Timings of the swimming pools are also not displayed properly. We were told that the pool closes at 7:00 pm, however, the lazy river, water slides and water jump closed at 6:00 pm, which we didn't know, and our kids were very dissapointed . Undergoing maintenance and not being advised beforehand. the hours the pool is open. Staff sluggish. some decorations. There were not nearly enough sunbeds supplied on the beach for all the guests. The lazy river was too lazy as over half of the jets were not working. Bad smell in the room and corridors.
