Everything about his hotel was great, couldn't have asked for better service from the friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here during the Full Moon Party and the location was perfect. Just at the bottom of the full moon party with a stoll down the beach (5min even less) hardly any noise from full moon party once back at hotel and in our room. It is placed in the middle of sunrise beach, very nice place during the day (white and slim sand, nice water but no interest for snorkeling) and the night where full moon parties take place once a month but the rest of the days there are restaurants and clubs to hang out. There was a lovely man at Reception who checked me in, showed me to my bungalow and took the time to explain everything to me. He spoke very good English and always has a lovely greeting. To go snorkeling you have to go to the other side of the islands but if you know it theres no problem, we had a car and it takes 40-45 minutes to go to the other side where you can find Koh Ma. The staff in the restaurant were rude and abrupt, not speaking enough English to understand what customers were asking for. I witnessed a waiter being very rude to a family when the mother wanted a plain bowl of rice for her son and he bought him soup. I ordered a drink they didn't give me and they were very determined to charge me for it. The words 'lost in translation' came to mind. In breakfast I've only missed more vegan options. Bathrooms were a bit dated. Lack of tea/coffee in the room. Old furniture in rooms. truly unfriendly staff which treats you as criminals and not paying customers. The staff was very not nice, the hotel is too expensiv for 2-3 stars hotel .. No free wifi, we payed over 700 usd for 5 nights!. No dubai sport TV channel no bath accessories Deposit money not working properly doors and windows not protected from outdoor noise.
