Location was good for Sunday night market. Good to be within the old city. Easy to book city and onward travels if not from accommodation then all down the street. Clean comfortable beds and amenities. Great breakfast and value for money. hotel is great and not far from anything although its worth getting 2 wheels to look around an extensive city. Very nice hotel and very clean. On the small ring road of the city, with easy access to the centre.
all reviews » Location! Staff!. The hotel decorations were very nice, specially in the lobby. The room was ok, nice furniture. Although check out was at 12 we were allowed to stay til 3 for no extra cost which was really nice from them. Room is spacial and clean. Motorcycle rental service is available at the counter. Traditional Thai style in the room setting n design. Clean n comfortable. the location is very good breakfasts very good. Nothing. Limited English with the reception staff but then we are in their country and my Thai in far less desirable!. the booking confusion with letsbookhotel.com which appears to accept full payment when booking and led to serious embarrassment at reception on departure. Internet connexion is poor. Staff speaks less than basic English and in our demand to ask a better price for an airport ride, they denied to do so. Breakfast is maybe expensive for what it consists of. Bathroom needs better cleaning. The staff was friendly but very hard to communicate with, lack of english. We were asking about jungle trips but couldnt get much information from them. Internet didnt work for like 2 days which was quite annoying. The toilet didnt look clean at all! And the towels were full of stains. Over all the hotel looks very nice, its just the toilet and towels that would need improvement. Cockroach can be found in the hotel. Located at the north gate of the old down, which is a little bit far away from the markets at south and east gates. Actually hotels outside old town are usually better with swimming pools and motorcycle makes locations no difference. Bathtub was a jacuzzi tub. Not v convenient for my parents. Not enough place to hang towels. hard beds lack of english by staff poor lighting dark environment front of hotel badly presented in need of tlc. No parking at all, staff tried to charge twice for the room, we paid on arrival and the same person the following morning on check out tried to say we had not paid, will never stay here again, very poor.
