The staff were amazing!! It was like having a family to come home to each day. They were so helpful and happy all the time. Nothing was too much for them and their English was superb! They even helped us to book our next hotel in Chiang Dao! We stayed an extra week as we liked it so much. The room is basic, but clean with a little balcony. The shower was nice and hot too! For the price charged this is a great place to stay and the people made it the best place to stay! The food was good too and.
all reviews » The staff was the best of all the hotels we stayed in Thailand! The free pick up at the train station was really apreciated. The staff did not push us to buy any tour, but when we aske information they were super helpful and offered competitive prices. They also arranged laundry service for us, 30 Baht/kg: we left the clothes in the evening at the reception and in 24h we picked them up clean. We spent 1 night in a room with a fan and 2 nights with a/c. For us the fan was enough as in March it w. Staff were extremely helpful & welcoming, room was a good size with private hot shower. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels & water provided. Staff helped us out selecting & booking a couple of day trips & even stored our luggage for us when we left for an overnight elephant/jungle trip & accommodated us for a couple more nights afterward. Would highly recommend for a good budget, clean, friendly guesthouse, in a good location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I booked three trips with them, and was able to rent my scooter from them - all at great prices. The location in the Old City is excellent, two temples directly behind and around the corner - and due to it's location off of main street, it was pretty quiet at night with barking dogs and a random scooter as exceptions. Roof deck views of the mountains/sunset are recommended. Great staff!! We arrived late at night and they were waiting for us with a smile on their face. They explained to us all there was to see in the city and provided us with a map. We left 4 days to do the mhs loop and they were happy to keep our luggage with them. Helped us with trips, directions, transport, market directions etc. Nice hot shower (luxury in SE Asia). Room was big, TV had decent English channels which was good. This is a wonderful place to stay we booked for 3 nights and stayed for 9! The staff are pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The room was a great value for 600THB which had a comfortable bed and bathroom. There wasnt anything luxurious about the room but was a perfect place to rest at night. The boss and staff are very warm, very patient, help us to book a ticket, help to rent a motorcycle, tell us the attractions of the position. The rooms would need some renovation to look nicer, but they are completely fine for the price (we paid 300 Baht for the room with fan and 500 Baht for the room with a/c). I would definitely come back here and recommend this place. The hot tub was broken when I was there - honestly I don't think it ever worked but they said someone was fixing it. This is such a minor thing though. Can't think of anything. Wifi a bit weak, couldn't skype etc but no biggie. Nothing!. The spa wasnt full of water but besides that all else was good. Maybe the lack of mosquito veil because I was in a non air co room and it was war : ) Otherwise, it was really a nice stay, I stayed there for 4 nights. They stopped serving drinks and food at 8pm - but that's no big deal really. It was a bit noisy in the am when the staff began to clean the common areas as early as 6:45 am. I brought earplugs so it wasn't a major issue. Bathroom needs restoration. Barking dogs,. But there's nothing for this price and perfection of staff. We had a room with streetview and lights from the street wasn't very pleasant. Nothing. Nothing!. Nothing bad. Spend a bit more and take air con room. Rooms can get very hot! Fruit salad was not good. one thing i didnt like is they dont have any other hotel in thailand. they shd have a branch. :). Nothing really. We order for twin bed, but they give us single bed. nothing, there was some barking dogs at night but thats not the fault of the hotel. Nothing. Rooms are simply but it's ok for the price. they didn,t send vehicle to air port. i send details of filght etc. upkeep was poor, the management and staff were too "in your face" and not helpful.
