This hotel offers good value for money, is close to abundant shopping and nightlife. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Since I was on a business trip, I spend most of my time in my room working. The free WiFi was working fine (a bit slow sometimes, but I assume that was due to the provider, not the hotel). Lots of good restaurants on walking distance and I ordered room service a couple of times, which was brought in pretty fast. All in all a good stay. Would recommend!! It's also nice .

Bathing water pressure no good as water flow hot cool and warm. the flow of shower was a little weak and regulating the temperature of water was hard. I have stayed at Tai Pan on many occasions. This time I stayed with my partner. Because we had different social / business engagements that evening and would be returning separately in the early hours of the morning, we asked for 2 sets of keys to our room. Astonishingly, the hotel was unable to comply. Rooms are tired and need to be refurbished. Carpeting the bedroom needed cleaning. Long time since I saw a tv this big with such a small screen!. Not value for money. Had a deal through letsbookhotel.com for a superior room at half price (£30). Although clean I wouldn't of paid more than £20 at full price. Even tried charging me £5 for a leaflet map. Certainly better places money wise all over sukhumvit area. my bed was very hard, and the tv very old. I had chosen a deluxe room but could not make out the difference from the standard room that I had once stayed in. This lack of transparency only to make a few dollars more is irksome. beds were uncomfortable and rooms a bit dated. Staff is terrible, especially morning cashier - bell hops are in collusion with taxi drivers - thus no meter - trying to charge high fees, very unpleasant - Thai Pan Kitchen is a joke - has a lot of selection on morning buffet, but food is not tasty.
