Prime location right on corner of main sukhumvit road and soi nana, so great for skytrain and nightlife. ( get out of taxi on this corner, or even at landmark hotel , and walk. Taxis drive a long and slow way round the block to drop you at the door ). seemed fairly recently redecorated in very tasteful, slightly old fashioned style, though some older wooden furniture ( and bathtub ?) maybe from the previous era. Room with excellent soundproofing, and a big comfy bed, flatscreen tv, good a/c, fr.
all reviews » This is my third visit and will definitely return again. The location is perfect with ease of access to the Nana BTS and Tollway to both airports. The staff are always friendly and courteous at all hours of the day. My room has always been impeccably clean including the bathroom which has a good size bath with overhead shower. Wifi signal is good and for those that cannot do without TV there is plenty of variety to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Location is perfect, just a few steps away from Nana Skytrain station. This station connects easily to the Airport link as well. If you arrive by taxi, make sure you have the closest Soi (street) number with you, otherwise the driver cannot find it. Room very nice and big, bathroom a bit more basic than what I have seen in other hotels. Wifi connection is good and fast. Staff very friendly. Front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Rooms were immaculate. AC in room and lobby very cold. Maids were friendly. Always had first class service, especially the doorman. Since taxis can't stop in front of the hotel, I was pleased that the doorman carried my luggage and golf bag around the corner to a taxi stand. Felt like a VIP there!. Hotel is clean and guest friendly. Staff very helpful and friendly any time of day. Conveniently located just around the corner from the night life. Very good value for money. Despite valiant efforts of reception and back office, it was not possible to hookk up my windows-based smartphone to the free wifi. Bedrooms are a little on the small side for 2 people - but are as described on . included breakfast needs better variety and quality - nothing bad, just feel could easily be improved. No real comfy loungr/bsr area to relax - just recetion area opening into the restaurant where drinks were available. I guess ground floor space in this area is just too expensive.. This isn't quite something I do not like, just a heads up. The hotel is situated on Sukhumvit Road between Soi 4 & Soi 6. Some taxi drivers have difficulty finding it because of the street stalls that could block the access. You will face Bangkok's adult scene here, if that's disturbing for you then better stay a bit away from Sukhumvit. The stairs were steep and narrow and elevator small but sufficient. The restaurant staff were on the ball but too stone faced. Thought Thailand was the land of smiles? When I'm back home, I'm not a morning person either. But then I dont work in a people oriented job. This took to,12. 30 am but no apology or discount or mention made next day. Just beside the hotel, a large number of night bars are operating. So, at night, it is not good for walking around if you are not a big fan of drinking. No windows in the room. No way to adjust or control the AC in my room. i cant expect much in this tight budget. Thai people love it). when leaving the porter flagged a taxi however there was no price agreement...would be good if hotel had taxi rate to airport. need to book top floors only. nothing. tiny roaches which I personally dont care. size of rooms, staff was so rigid regarding hotel policy that even an extra packet of complementary milk powder was not provided when requested. Atmosphere with some noisy party people. Nothing. nothing. There's no any parking for a taxi, they need to stop on the middle of the road to pick up passengers or to drop them. Restaurant staff are total opposite to the reception staff who are super friendly and efficient. The hotel did not offer Twin bed rooms. Not much ventilation, Instead of Break Fast they could Say High Tea/Coffee, Break fast supplied was very bad, No alternatives for Vegetarian. The room had a very strong cigarette smell. Every time I entered the room. So if you dont smoke. Please request the non-smoking floors .
