The service was top notch- from the check-in/out, fitness center, to the restaurant/bar. While we were at The Speakeasy, it started to drizzle- servers ran to us with umbrellas to shield us from the rain until the awning had fully spread (small detail, but it went a long way for us). The Room: The view from any corner of this building was incredible, especially our room. We slept with the drapes open and woke up to sunbeams spreading across the city. all reviews » I loved everything there, the location is good very near from the BTS so it's quite convenient to visit Bangkok. Staff pay attention to our comfort and needs. The food was good and not so expensive for a 5 star hotel. The room is quite big which is very good point especially in city hotel. The swimming pool is not big but enough, and not crowed. The view is nice, I really enjoy the top floor bar. The hotel itself is unique, the decoration is amazing in the corridor, the lobby and the room itsel. (1)I booked 1 night of deluxe room and 3 nights of standard room, it was great that the hotel upgrade us to stay in the deluxe room for all the 4 nights. (2)Big, clean and stylish room. Very comfortable bed sheet. (3)Delicious breadfast buffet. (4)Hotel situated in a quiet district, 7 eleven is just over the road, a small massage centre beside the hotel provided good service. (5)About 10mins walk from BTS Chit Lom to hotel, Hotel provide shuttle bus (Tuk Tuk) service between hotel and Chit Lom. This hotel was amazing. The bedding was custom for the hotel and beautifully set, the rooms are very well-appointed, the bathroom design was incredible (the claw-foot tub overlooked the bedroom and skyline through a massive glass wall with a motorized shade). Confort of a 5* design hotel, great reception staff, great rooftop bar, easy access from Chit Lom Sky train station (about 5 min walking). On the check-out day we had our plane at 23 hrs so they accepted late check out (14 hrs), then offered us to use free of charge gym facilities to take a shower and change before our flight. We did not have breakfast included and found out it was much more expensive in the dinning room than if you chose to have room service. Try and get it included where possible! Be great to have somewhere other than the salon bar where you can sit and have tea which is more airy and light. The bar at the top only opens in the evening. Nothing. Nothing. 2 beers and a JD and coke was more than 25 GBP.... Which is well over the top. Lobby is pretty busy most of the time and room card didn't work in the elevator a few times but all minor things in the bigger scheme of things. The Pastries at breakfast could have been better. WIFI connection was not steady in the room. The air conditioner broke and leaked water in the early morning on two days. The repairman fixed it for good the second time. The response time was prompt after alerted to the problem. nothing. I found a bloodstain on the sheet. And there was a toilet paper in the toilet on the first day!!!!. Breakfast did not stand out like everything else. The swimming pool is a bit small, good for a refreshing dip though. The breakfest is overpriced, they charge separatly for fruit bar, salad bar, bakery. Etc. Long waiting period for check in. Nothing. With the staff during the first stay -some were a bit nonchalant, during my second stay, staff was very friendly, helpful and resourceful... so at the end of the day, it depends on the individual .. N/A. The room wasn`t ready when we come. We were waiting. The money were take off my account before a week.and hotel have blocked a deposit 3000 for a 10-15 days. Still don`t returned(16 day). We were not allowed to stay at the 24 floor restaurant on a balcony with a child. So we did`n know were to go then. The inside restaurant didnt work at 19 o`clock already..Too many people on the street, hard to have a rest. The airconditioning in the rooms are very noisy, gym and pool quit small. No wifi in some parts of the room... The speakeasy restaurant is located on the roof of hotel, beautiful night view, but just the food is not as satisfied as the others. Try drinks there only. Pool...small. Not really. Except the pool cannot swim due to its too small. Small swimming pool. I was not given the room that I originally booked and had to change rooms after I got to the room and noticed that it did not match what I booked. The breakfast area was small and we have to wait our turn to take our seat..I wish if they can make a big area or space.in the near future. Nothing we did not like about it although I had a tear in a 1000 bht note and the receptionist would not take it as payment!!. nothing. the scent in the lobby. Breakfast very poor quality. We had to spend just one night between 2 flights. So, we were really tired and wanted just to relax. However, even though the check-in time is from 14.00 and we arrived at 15.30, the room was not ready. so we had to hang on 30 minutes before having our room + 15 minutes to get our luggage. In the room we didn't find the slippers probably because they did everything in a rush. Nothing really serious then but I think that a 5 star should take care of all details too. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected. hope the breakfast buffet can provide some more thai food, for example , the noodles. I was told that I would not accrue any Accord points for staying at the hotel because I booked on letsbookhotel.com.
