We used the Ibis Messe as our overnight spot before flying out of Zurcih the next morning. It was a perfect spot. The shuttle was easy to spot at the airport, the driver courteous. Can't say enough good things about the friendly, sociable staff. Amenities such as free wi-fi in the rooms (an unexpected surprise) and a business center where we could print our boarding passes were a plus. Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains. We found this route. Rooms and the bathroom was so good. So comfy. Hotel located in a good position for me, because I had a concert in Hallenstadion, which is nearly 5 minutes of walk from the Hotel. The food in the Hotels Restaurant was perfect. You can eat traditional food of Switzerland, Rösti. Delicious. Decoration is good. Red and white and fresh. Workers at the lobby are so friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle bus in the airport which takes you to the Hotel easily. Every 30 min. Shuttle arrives at the Zür. The best part of ibis was value for money. We got an absolutely clean room , an airport shuttle and a Swiss restaurant in the hotel, more than we could ask for. The staff was friendly and helpful. Proximity to tram and bus stations helped us plan day excursions. Overall, clean and comfortable stay at minimum cost. This is a basic, no-frills hotel near the airport. It held 15 and 23 where waiting at 7:00 pickup. Staff did not want to referee who could get on. The very expensive daily parking fee for the use of the garage. Breakfast was quite poor. we had just one big bath towel. Give us at least one more small towel. Would have likesd a lower price. If you want to go to the city (we had two night stay at this hotel) without a car, then the location isn't very close. There are two train lines (10 and 11), so it is not a problem. A bit far from the city. It is a budget hotel, so do not expect luxury. It is very clean though. room smelt - sweaty socks/dirty mop. The shuttle runs hourly. The rooms are quite small. - Rooms and baths quite small. The shuttle to airport has limited seats and does not have enough space for luggages. It took awhile to wait for the airport shuttle from the airport...over 30 minutes. Towels didn't smells good at all...!. Staff not helpful about suggesting routes to the city centre. Check in seemed to take a lot of time. Also the airport is some distance away . Small room. Air-conditioning didn't work properly. The room was too hot. No ref No water In room. not very rich breakfast proposal. Very small rooms. basic hotel, budget. could not locate any restaurants close to hotel, limited selection of food service.
