From the moment we arrived in Zermatt and the hotel paid for the taxi to take us to La Couronne our stay could not have been better. The friendlineness and effeciency of the staff was exceptional.The setting of the hotel is superb with the Matterhorn view outstanding. The breakfast was fantastic with every member of staff being very friendly without being condesending. Staff, localization, cleaning of the rooms, facilities.The hotel is wonderful !!. all reviews »
fabulous staff starting with receptionist who welcomed us and answered so many questions and was charm herself; view from room superb, bed comfort very good and a well designed bathroom - what more could we want so stayed a second night....... A good restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Excellent staff, Excellent veiw of Matter Horn. Great location in Zermatt, friendly hotel staff, very good hotel considering *** class. adjoinuing restaurant appeared to be part of hotel and could put meals on hotel tab to pay together - stupid error drinks could be put on tab but not food - bit annoying...... The hotel is overlooking the local cemetry, which my fiance didn't like and wasn't mentioned on the site. Our room overlooked the cemetry!.
