We (2 friends) had a GREAT stay here in Haus Esplanade 14-19 may 2013. Beautiful rooms with a lot of light. All was abcolutely clean and Suzie is very friendly, thanks a lot! all reviews » The value was phenomenal compared to everywhere else we looked at Zermatt. The place was roomy with 2 bedrooms, 2 eating areas and a big family area with 2 more murphy beds. It was super clean and had plenty of supplies. It's about a 700 meter walk to the Schwarzsee Gondola. We just locked and left our skis there overnight and enjoyed the walk through the very charming town. Would definitely return and stay at the same place!. Dont have enough words to describe how amazing this place is, surprisingly you get lot more than what you pay for i.e. Complementery wine bottle was really nice example + candles+ unlimited other things that i didnt even expect !!! Thank you so much. Perfect base for climbing the local peaks, then returning home for hot bath. Good shower, well equipped kitchen. There was a bottle of wine and gift set when we arrived. Fantastic. The apartment was close the the local shops and trains. It had a lovely view of the Matterhorn. The facilities were great and it was scrupulously clean. + Full set´of kitchen stuff + Nice room and balcony + cost efficient + nice welcome gifts + Taxis work nicely. The valve of money, facilities are new. The environment is just good. The most wonderful apartment in excellent location and rate.. Spotlessly clean, good location and amazing value for money. clean, cozy, quiet place to live. Superb views of the Matterhorn. All is good, no negatives. The room was very clean. The only issue we had was the relatively hard beds and wi-fi internet didn't reach to the 4th floor; so we had to go down two floors and sit in the lobby/hallway area to get signal. N/A. We had trouble finding the hotel when we arrived. The Google map directions were misleading, the street name did not match the address. It is a short, easy walk from the station, but would suggest you get directions for the nearby Information centre if unsure. - Mattress could have been better - Little bit far from lift by foot. A little far away from train station (1km). Nothing. a little bit far from the train station. Nothing, it was all wonderful. After taking a shower the bathroom stayed wet as the water drains under the shower cabinet.
