  The staff were very accommodating! They informed us upon arrival that because we had a child, we should have reserved a private room. Since there private rooms were full, they allowed us to stay in a 4 person room without roommates. They were very kind and helpful. The facilities are very clean and well kept. There is a park behind the hostel. It - Every bed in 4-bed shared room had a charging point with reading light. Large rooms and bathroom, very wide doors, lift and corridors, as it had obviously been built originally as a sanitorium.   The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lady who checked me in at 11.30 pm in the night was a wonderful person. In spite of the late check-in, she very proficiently showed me around all the facilities, answered all my queries. I was extremely impressed. The location is very convenient to reach from Zurich Main Station (Tram 4) and from Zur... what people say » ich Airport (train to Zurich Main and then the tram). All the kitchen facilities were working and were new and clean. I will like stay here again. - As a frequent business traveler, I am always looking for comfort place with a good shower place and a comfort bed. Ema is a plus for good location and close to the lake as well as train station. I was not familiar with the tram but google map is helpful with the route. Tram 4 and 2 are very frequent reaching this place. Also the staffs are very friendly and provide all needed information. I will definitely come back again.

  The apartment was very clean and it has clothes washer and dryer. It has very nice and fully furnished kitchen. The internet was fast. The area is very quiet although a bit distant from the city center but there as tramway station 20 meters from the gate. It was excellent choice.
