When we arrived we were welcomed by a charming and helpful receptionist. Although we were early we could book in the room straight away. The room was very clean , the beds comfortable - one of it was bunk, but I knew about it in advance so no problem there. The breakfast buffet was varied and it was plenty there, good coffee. Good Wi-Fi reception. Would be nice if they offered free coffee and tea for guest as so many other hostels in Stockholm do, specially since there are no facilities to make.
all reviews » Location is very good, not so far from city center. If you have a travel card location is not a problem at all. It takes about half a hour to get to Gamla stan by walk and about 10 min to nearest subway station. Breakfast isgood. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Luggage room is very useful, especially if you have late flight. In few words, it's good value for money. As for me I liked location - on the lake's bank in the small quite island. Subway station is in 10 min walking, big park is near here where we walked and everyone jogging or riding bisicles. If you would like to walk to the center (Gamla Stan) you can walk through the park and river bank about 50-60 minutes. I went to Reimersholme last March with my friend and that was a good choice. The recepcionists were so friendly and help us with everything. The location of the hotel is good, because is not in the city center but not so far. Is in a nice island and have an awesome views. -the location: quiet, overlooking the river -the breakfast: excellent value for money, very tasty, varied -the cooking facilities -the quietness -the safety -the basic needs met -the bathroom although shared, it was very clean. good price and easy found location. And also very friendy staff. We arrived after midnight, reception was closed, but in advance we got clearly instructions how to get inside the hotel and find our room keys. The staff was very friendly. The small island was very inviting. Stockholm was very busy the day we needed to stay and we were lucky to find a hotel at all. We were pleasantly surprised. Great location, only a few minutes walk from the metro. Shopping and restaurants also a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend La Casa restaurant nearby, great food and drinks. The staff is amazong very helpful and caring :) the place and rooms are very clean i highly recommend this place you will have a great time with them :) .. The man is less easy-going. In one of the shared bathrooms there was a bad smell from the drains and the timed shower was a bit of an issue for my toddler otherwise they were pleasant enough to use, with enough shelf space and handy plastic cups for storing toothbrushes etc. It is quite far from the center to walk every day. We had to use subway and it was very expensive for us (24 hours full ticket costs about 15 euro, for red line costs about 10 euro). But if you rent a bike in "City bike" it will be cost 15 euro for 3 days. The cleaning service is good but they have no respect for your privacy. We had to have the door locked everytime because they opened wihout knocking. i cannot think of anything, this hotel ticked all the boxes, very safe, friendly, quiet, clean. The hotel is a little bit out of way if you are interested in the sites around the city center. Shared bathrooms : although there were a few on the floor it was not my preference, but better than I thought it would be. - bathrooms seemed not finished yet. Everything ok. Good audibility (I were living in additional building). Walls were thin. So you could hear everything someone else was doing in the other rooms... but you do get what you pay for. A bit far from the nearest metro station. Reception is closed after 23pm. Maybe a bit far from the centre for some people but it worked for us. The kitchen wasn't well equipped. The kettle didn't work and there were hardly any pans or cutlery. Poor sound proofing. Some cold in a room. huge price. idont like uncomfortroom. Bathroom in the corridor is never clean... the breakfast. No sink or table in room. Just a chair, closet and bed. while the hostel is basically clean, toilets, showers, kitchen facilities are not kept adequately under control as regards cleanliness. Rooms are reasonable size but very austere. Expensive for what was given. Mor elike a hostel than hotel. Basic rooms have no tv, Annex ones do but tv wouldn't work. Staff came to fix but only 3 channels worked intermittently. A funny smell came from bathroom, and no soap. Bed/mattress very uncomfortanble, and walls thin so can hear talking, other noises, and in morning someone drilling. Breakfast not included in cost, and probably not Worth paying extra for. Two single beds when needed a double bed. Smelly bathroom and noisy air vent. The room was tiny and very much hostel-type accommodations (bunk beds), which would have been fine if the price had matched. The room was a bit said, without a window and with just the necessities. The second night there was a smell of smoke from cigarettes at the room, probably from the ventilation. Not very nice. i asked the reception for having hangers in the closet, for there was none, and they never showed up. Location was a little bad. Breakfast average, I could hear the doors slamming, and my neighbour room (coughing sounds), bathrooms are average. Expensive for one star. dont like room.
