1. Generous and very tasty breakfast (included scrumbled eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits, muffins). 2. Tea facilities in the room. 3. Deluxe room was quite big and modern. Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the 10th floor. 4. Hotel is close to subway station (5-7 minutes walk). Local area is pleasant, not too touristic. 5. Nice gym. 6. Computer and printer facilities on the 3rd floor. The young Thai woman who checked us in was exceptionally helpful, giving maps and precise directions on how to get to places via subway and bus as well as a couple of suggestions as to what to see. We had requested a room on an upper floor with a view and were given one on the top floor center overlooking the park - perfect. Nice color scheme in the room, too.
all reviews » This is a true blue Marriott Courtyard Hotel with everything you can expect from Marriott (also the slightly overpriced food & beverage).The staff is five stars in this barely 4 stars hotel. Anali and Mary deserve special mentioning since their efforts and good humour made the technology failures in the room bearable (it was only for 2 nights). Quiet lakeside location. Clean, modern lobby. The upgraded corner room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. All the plumbing worked well. Additional tissues were provided promptly when asked. The breakfast buffet was great. Very clean room. Everything needed is available. Icecubes available outside the room. Excellent breakfast. Nice 20/25 minutes walk to the centre,ut on a nice road with view at the city and water. Underground station nearby hotel. The hotel was wonderful. Our corner room was large and very comfortable. To the underground it takes you 5 min. - the location, its located at walking distance to the city center (30 minutes) and is situated on Kungsholmen, wich is a beautiful part of Stockholm. - breakfast was good. Location is convenient for the city centre and transport (underground and E4). The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood, city center easily available on walk. Breakfast was good, reception staff welcoming, as well as the staff from breakfast. 1. Walking to Gamla-Stan took around 40 minutes (it was a nice walk though - even in December) and public transport is very expensive in Stockholm. 2. Shower cabin had a small leak (basically, it was not a cabin but just a corner in the bathroom surrounded by glass doors). But this leak was really small and didn't cause a flood in the bathroom. Great hotel if it would have real air-conditioning and not some silly "air circulation system" which makes the same noise but doesn´t cool the room. Windows are sealed so although your outside temperature is 8ºC inside you will not get it much cooler than an inconvenient 22ºC which makes the duvet completely superfluous. This hotel should be avoided with outside temperatures over 14ºC or during plain sunshine. Nothing comes to mind,. Only a shower, no bathtube. The shower was a bit odd, consisting of just a drain in the floor and a curtain instead of a separate shower stall, which made for a messy result at times. It was a bit odd that the sheets were only changed every 3 days. Nothing much really except that it is a little away from the City (which we liked!) which means that if you wish to dine outside the hotel you have to walk about 400 metres from the rear of the hotel to the area around the nearest Metro station where there are several restaurants at a range of price levels. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant across the street at the back. Staff was always a bit stressed Windows in the room can't be opened (which i dislike) Parking is with approx. 60€ for 2 nights to expensive (even for stockholm). When checking in, the hotel locked the amount for my visit. When checking out, they did it agian! Resulting in that they dubble charged my card. So be aware of that, it seems to have happened to other guests aswell!. The dinner was decent enough but quite expensive for what it was. Either a long walk or short subway ride to most attractions. Better located for business vs tourists who want to walk to all attractions. A little pricey and ~30 minutes walk from the city center. A little far from city but accessible by metro;. Lack of bathrobes and slippers in the room. Unfortunately there is no bathtub in a kingsize bed room. The interieur like carpets and walls could be cleaner. The weather ..... A bit of a walk to city but it's a pleasant 25 mins on a nice day. Poor organisation of breakfast buffet, long waiting line and empty serving trays. The free internet was very slow. Cheaper hotels offer much faster internet for free. Inadequate hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom. Location, but you have one metro station ver near (5 min walk). Cold plates for hot food at breakfast. Because I was on a leisure trip: - the location. It's quite central, but the neighbourhood offers very little to a tourist. Poor wifi reception. Parking was a bit expensive. Expensive (but Stockholm is!). Evening menu could have more choice, and is the same each day. Everything. It is just a bit far from the city center...but 5 mins from the Underground station. It is not in the center but close enough to a metro station. Breakfast should be included. The restaurant only had buffet for breakfast which was expensive ($30). Bar staff ignored us as customers preferring to talk to each other. The lack of care for the guests; we booked a room for 2 and the vanity kits (shower gel, shampoo, etc) was only for 1 person to be used. The following days, even though we noted this to the staff - it was the same. Only after we specifically requested for additional stuff we were able to receive it. That's too bad for the brand itself, as we were really expecting 4* services and this is by far a very basic thing to take care of.
