I messed up the booking and booked the wrong nights under a non-refundable ticket but they allowed us a room anyway. We had to pay a little bit extra as the original room we'd requested wasn't available but was relieved not to have to pay the whole thing again. Very friendly helpful staff, as a disabled man it was short enough walk into town even for me. Nice big clean rooms great cafes near by. I will be staying again.

Seems to be a new and clean hostel. Location was quite good. Lots of shared toilets and showers. Big common kitchen. You are expected to empty your own bins and clean the room before you leave. We had an early departure so found this a pain. You have to pay extra for bedding and towels (although this was specified so shouldn't complain). Didn't realize until leaving that you can turn the heating down in the rooms and we roasted at night but that's my fault for not looking !!. Nothing. It's definetely more a family/business place than a backpackers hostel, but still a nice option. We had to rent sheets and that was very expensive. long corridors and narrow stairs to get to room. and shower a bit far from my room. Shower. the location. linens rent, ridicolous. these people should notice, providing a bed without linens is not hostelling. and it is not cheap at all. This was a lesson for us in our first self manage hostel experience. Low on trimmings but easy on cost. There was nothing to say (that we noticed) that the Trianglen train station was closer than the central train station (by at least 30mins) and my Mum has a back injury. The price also became a bit expensive when they added on linen and breakfast - we could have probably stayed in hotel with these things included for the same price. The breakfast is too pricey for what it is. People are grouped in the same room regardless of age, so it is difficult to mingle at times. Looks like it is common for swedish accomodations but having to pay for bed linen and clean the room makes you stunning for a such price. Very very uncomfortable bed, staff not too helpful, very boring looking. Not special. Sterile. Like a hostel factory or something. Price for a double room with sheets is comparable with hotel price. Rent of a lining and towels priced redicilously and not a clear mention about it (read the "Important information")! Rooms need to be cleaned by yourself and also the lining and towels need to be returned to the reception. No ac. The hostel is close to the driving street which made it really difficult to sleep because of the noice made by cars passing the building. Not really worth of spending your money on this hostel. I had an ensuite room booked and when I arrived they gave me a room with no bathroom and no shower. common toilets in poor condition.
