We loved this apartment. It was only a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and Alcazar. It was in terrific condition, had a very nice kitchen and bath room. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the roof top terrace, which we thoroughly enjoyed each night under the stars. The bars and restaurants in the plaza are very good; in particular, the tapas at Aljibe were best we had on our visit to Spain.
all reviews » Apartment Alameda 91 is located in a safe and quiet zone. Also the sightseeing tour bus stop nearby. The apartment is spaces and also equiped with a small kitchen for family tourists. Very clean and comfortable. The hoster is very nice to help us bring luggage and introduce room facilities and local sightseeing information for us. Everything was Excellent. Thanks to Maria and her husband who are running the hotel, Maria was more than helpful. The studio is very cosy and nice to live in. definitely will come back and recommend it to anyone. Location on the edge of a busy square with lots of activity. Our private roof patio. Local eating places. Loved that it was so close to lovely bars and restaurants. We had the penthouse therefore had a lovely balcony. The kitchen had everything you needed and the layout of the apartment was lovely. staff were very friendly easy going and helpful. The location was excellent and the place has been renovated so it appeared reasonably new. nice rooms, friendly staff, very central location: at the square "Alameda de Hercules", with nice bars and many young people hanging out. This is a terrific apartment with little not to like. If I had one gripe, the top floor apartment was a bit warm. However the weather too, it was in the mid 80s f when we stayed. Apartments on lower floors seemed to be cooler. However, the top floor apartment comes with a cozy private terrace, rather than a common, which is shared by the other floors. For us, the private terrace was a well worth trade off. 15~20 mins to the famous Cathedral by walking, a little far away from downtown. The wall is not soundproof that you can hear noise outside from the neiberhoods. No external windows in the flat. All windows looked out onto a narrow internal courtyard. The downside of the lively location is the noise - the bars right outside are open until 4am. I slept with ear plugs but recommend asking for an apartment at the back of the building. Nothing to dislike. water leak from the ceiling in the bathroom. the nice location comes at a cost: it's a bit loud outside during the night, especially at Friday and Saturday night. The mattress of the double bed and the sofa bed were really uncomfortable, which was quite surprising given the high standards of the flat overall (I stayed in the blue flat, 3rd. floor). Moreover, the hot water would run out very fast, making it difficult for the three of us to take showers hot showers at the same time! Finally, although in general the cleaning was to a good standard, the floor wasn't really clean in the living room. Everything was very good. nothing. A bit strange room layout. Bathroom is small, pillows are very thin... Parking and driving is crazy in that part of the city. Very poor kitchen facilities and very well equipped. Apartment had a damp smell and feel, moved us to another apartment which was fine. Should not have been put in damp room, so was not happy with the hassle caused. booked room for 4 (2 preteens) apt was way too small. pull out (second bed blocked access to bathroom. very small hot water supply a lot of noise from other tenants in building TV didn't work due to faulty elec. outlet.
