hotel picasso is a very nice place to stay in the neighbourhood of the airport.By taxi you are in a few minutes there.The hotel is very friendly,clean,nice and comfortable.We were very suprised to see the place.Beautiful garden with swimmingpool,nice terrace,and nice rooms.You can also have some dinner there.All by all a very nice place and for sure we will go back.Thanks a lot. environment, very peacful atmsosphere.
all reviews » The hotel is charming: the rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the furniture is full of taste. We had tea facilities in our room and fresh fruit. The room has a nice and unexpensive mini-bar. The courtyard is wonderful, the best we have seen in Spain. This hotel is quite peaceful and is five minutes drive from the airport. It is far from the center but easy to reach by a bus that runs every 30 minutes and that has a stop at a 3-minute walk.Location was unusual, in a residential neighborhood. Good for proximity to airport but away from the city center. the breakfast room was too small. Dining was not available on that particular day. It would have been nice if there were tea/coffee-making facilities in the room.The location was not ideal - 40 minutes on a bus from Malaga. The hotel was close to the airport - but in the flight path, and noisy. The facitlies were not ideal- e.g. hot water took a very long time. The noise from the hallway was quite loud, coule be remedied with an attachment under the door. The tv was ridiculously small.no restaurant at the time we were there and surroundings. Food at dinner was poor. Persistent smell of used cooking oil. Breakfast mediocre.The lounge area was quite dark, not particularly inviting. poor kind of towels. no toilet brush. hidden in an expensive neberhood.the bed. Food at evening meal - see above comment. No staff around at breakfast time. Hotel seemed lacking in staff. Conditions of stay were that you were not allowed to eat or drink anything you didn't buy from the hotel in your room! Seemed to us like an insulting condition since reviews of hotel restaurant were very poor and only 2 places in the town offered food. One of which is a pizzeria! This hotel only any good for one nights stay for airport. Area is dead and hotel felt a bit weird to us.

Travelling information

From the airport (2.5km), follow signs to Malaga. At the first bend (Coca-Cola) turn left towards San Julián and follow signs to Guadalmar. Go under the motorway (A-7|E-15). The hotel is signed from the Guadalmar roundabout.

From the A-7|E-15 motorway (Antequera-Malaga-Marbella-Algeciras): turn off at kilometre 232, signed 'San Julián-Guadalmar' (Leroy Merlin).

From the N-340|Velasquez Avenue (at 2km): To take airport direction, and fallows San Julian and Guadalmar direction.

From the old centre or the train station (5km), take the bus no. 10 towards Churiana and get off at Guadalmar. By car, follow signs to Marbella (A-7|E-15) or Aeropuerto (N-340|Velasquez Avenue).
