It is just a short walk from the Mirentxu to the famous Puerta del Sol. It is also near the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums. There are cafes nearby, where you can have breakfast.
Rooms are simple and comfortable. There is free luggage storage and a tour desk on site. From here, guests can organize excursions to the Valle de los Caidos, Segovia, Toledo and Escorial.
The guesthouse has good connections to all parts of the city, and to the Atocha AVE train station. Sevilla and Sol metro stations are both a short walk away.

located in very heart of Madrid, great neighborhood, total value for money, clean peaceful, great room design. Comfort. Mirentxu is very close to Madrid's main touristic points. The location of the hostal is perfect. I have stayed at a single room for six nights. The room was clean, basicly decorated, sufficient for a short visit. Hostal staff was excellent. Spanish-spoken. It was very clean and quiet!. Fair enough. Close to Everything. Good stay. no fuss,great location, friendly staff. Friendly staff and great location. Central location is excellent. As soon as you arrive there, they give you the key from the gate, the hotel and to your room, so you just come and go whenever you feel like, witch were great. it was very close from the certer of the city and from two museums. good location in centre Madrid. Cold shower one morning - I think because all the hot water had already been used by other guests. The website could have highlighted the location a bit better. i.e. It was on the third floor of a building which had other hotels on other floors and it was quite tricky to find. Poor ventilation and air condition. Very Difficult to find the hotel, as no clear outside signage exceptsmall brass plate high on the door frame. Its a family bussiness, and they were fighting really bad at my last day, their mother (guessing) was crying, when I came back to get my luggage they were not nice...it was bad.the bedroom was very close from the room of the hotel, so everything we talked inside the bedroom it was listened by the clerks. small barthroom, little hot water.The cockroaches and the fact that they charged my credit card in advance without telling me that they would do it.
