Great location, about 30 seconds walk from Gran Via station. Close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Journey time from the airport on the metro approximately 35 minutes but bit of a headache if you have large bags as some of the connecting stations have steps. Really nice staff and decor. Wifi is free which was a bonus!. Very good location, helpful staff, free use of their computer in lobby.

The English could have been better att a few times, otherwise excellent. Small room.air con would not turn to cold setting in our room so a bit stuffy with our irish hangovers but hotel highly recommended all the same. the internet worked for a little while then crashed, which was a bit inconvienient.Too much noise from construction and rooms facing the small side street were subject to a lot of noise. The Breakfast should be much more varied. For a four stars hotel this meal is very, very poor.Some single rooms are very small. Only the staff of reception speaks English, so there is problem in communication in the bar for example. The room was too hot and aircon was ineffective and not repaired as requested. on entering the room the heating was turned off, so turned on the dial to get some heat and none came. Spent very cold night in below zero degrees in the room. Called reception who sent someone immediately, to rectify the situation. The dial on the wall needs to be turned down until you hear a click, then heat comes, trouble is then you can't regulate the temperature, it was either hot or cold! I. When I arrived, the room they gave me was very small. I had to switchrooms and therefore increase my nightly rate. It would have helped ifthey would have mentioned that the original room was so small. I bookedfor two people and the room they gave me was for 1 person.I booked a superior room and frankly it was disappointing, it was very dark, the lighting was extremely poor, it was virtually impossible to read at night. The room could have done with a facelift, scuffed paint and generally not of 4 star standard. The wardrobes were sticking all the time and did not move on their tracks properly. The bathroom whilst spotless was old and tired. Lack of staff at coffee bar.The Internet connection was not always available in my room. The room could have been bigger,. The rooms allocated were small, my friend got a single room despitebooking a double for single occupancy and the hotel wasn't very helpful inthat regard. rooms only fair in standard and quality. Main functionning elevator was a very Pre-historic one. Asked for a non-smoking room and was given a room full of fumes. Breakfast was poor. Construction noises began in the hotel at 9am.The price was excellent but the room in question for 2 nights was sosmall. There was hardly room to move around and the door of the bathroomhardly opened as the bidet was directly behind it. 1. Yes, air conditioning was not working properly. 2. No desk for writing using laptop.The temperature in the room was uncomfortable... too warm. room service was very poor and took 1.3 hr for the meal to be delivered and after several calls the meal arrived and they brought a meal for uno (1) and we ordered dos (2) meals, we finally after 1.5 hour got both meals, poor.the room is too small. only for a child. The dimenssion of the room compared to the ranking of the hotel (i.e. 4 star).
