Its proximity to the Alhambra and to the albycin is great. Also there are bus services and taxis available. Parking is easy and affordable. The restaurant has very good evening meal for €17.50 which is good value. Also take well behaved dogs. Everything! It was fabulous being so close to the Alhambra. The staff were courteous, spoke good English and helped with all our questions.Wish we could have stayed longer.

To getto the other sightseeing parts of Granada requires a bit of an effort,but nothing overly strenuous -- there is a shuttle that stops nearbyfrequently, or you can walk (about 15 minutes downhill, or 20 minutesuphill). The only problem I had was the gypsy flamenco show we booked through the hotel; the show was amazing, but we had to spend over two hours on a bus picking up and dropping off other guests....and the show's location was not very far from the hotel - we would have rather driven there ourselves then to spend most of the evening on a bus.Bar/cafe closes too early if you'd like to get late, light food. Early opening of cafeteria no where to get coffee in morning or drink after 12 at night.The snack bar allowed people to smoke. The room was quite small and without a spectacular view. no, happy throughout. A lot of big tour groups and frazzled kitchen staff, but that's not the hotel's fault.Family room noise level rather loud from restaurant on same floor; bed abnormally hard in the family room. limited restaurant menu. there had to have been a slight problem with the hotels plumbing system because we perceived a faint odor of sewage at times, which disappated after venting through the suite window. We were not comfortable addressing this issue with the reception staff at the time of our stay. The beds! Mattress was so hard I found it impossible to sleep but this is personal as I do not like very hard mattress' Shame as the room was lovely.Air conditioning noisy. price of drinks. Sound insulation of the rooms was somewhat below par, with conversationsand tv from the adjacent room being clearly audible. the beds were very very hard. everytime anyone turned on a faucet or flushed a toilet in our room or any room around us we heard it and it was loud. we spent the first night at the abades nevada which is a distance but less expensive and with great rooms and a fabulous spa and afterward we realized we could have taken a cab from the alhambra back there for less money and more comfort.Bathroom was well equipped and clean, but the plumbing, although working well, was quite noisy. With continental breakfasts we weren't allowed a 2nd cup of coffee (rather mean), then they charged us for full breakfasts anyway but missed off one day - random!. Hard beds and slow service in the restaurant. Perhaps there was a lack of cooks in the kitchen?. Bit stuffy, bit dusty, tap water cloudy. The "hot" breakfast was below standard. Mainly because it was luke warm. a long walk up the hill from the city centre!. late breakfast ( opens 7:45), Alhambra opens the doors for poeple who wants to visit the palace at 8:30 on 8:15. Not much time for breakfast!. hard to get to the hotel by car, one-way roads. Bar closes quite early. A bit far from the city. the gentleman at the front desk was not very friendly. Bad smell, I would advise also to chose a hotel more in the center.

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 20 km from Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport, Granada’s international airport. From the airport, the best option is to take a taxi. The hotel’s proximity to the ring road around Granada (Circunvalación or Ronda Sur), means that it can be reached easily, without having to negotiate the difficulties of travelling through the centre of Granada itself.

By Car:
- From the ring road (Circunvalación or Ronda Sur) take exit 132, signposted towards Sierra Nevada – Alhambra.
- Go through the tunnel and head towards the Alhambra.
- From there, it is very easy to find the hotel, which is situated in front of the Alhambra car park, just 100 metres from the entrance to the monument complex.

Parking:
Parking is available on the streets surrounding the hotel at an additional cost.

By Train:
The numbers 4, 9 and 11 buses run regularly, connecting the train station with the city centre (Calle Gran Via, 1). Once in Calle Gran Via, you will find the stop for the minibus to the Alhambra about 200 metres further on.

The cost of a taxi from the train station to the Alhambra area, where the hotel is located, varies depending on the time of the day and the traffic.
