The location was excellent with great transport links on your doorstep and the Gaudi house opposite the apartments. The view from the clean and stylish roof top was brilliant and the two small pools was perfect for a small dip but dont expect to do length in them! There is a nice small gym and sauna for people who are crazy enough to waste time in Barca in doors working out! It was kept very clean and very comfo. This is a fabulous place to stay in Barcelona. The apartment is stunning with views of Gaudi's Casa Mila just across the street. The facilities are excellent, with everything provided to make your stay comfortable. The Reception staff are great, namely Xavi and Emily, they are very friendly and extremely knowledgable and helpful. we will definitely be staying here again and would have no hesitation in recommending Suites Avenue. We booked 3 apartments for the family. All of us were very happy. The location is amazing. It is basically on the "Oxford Street" of Barcelona. The street running parallel is Las Ramblas. So perfect location. There is a 'plunge type' pool on the roof with sun loungers (only open until 8pm) and a longer (but narrow) outdoor pool on 1st floor. Nice for cooling down but you couldn't really call it a swimming pool. - The huge and comfortable living room and the well-equiped kitchen (especially the fruit juicer). - The rooms are kept very clean. - The very fine location, next to Gaudi's Casa Milla. - The fantastic views from the rooftop terrace. - The polite and service-minded staff who changed our room without too much discussion when our neighbours were noisy during nighttime and kept us awake. great location in main shopping area, metro 2 min walk ( diagonal station), 10 min walk to catalunya square and la rambla, view from terrace amazing and has a nice small pool to cool off, very trendy and smart complex, room was good size for 3 of us with luxurious bathroom, friendly staff, recommend highly. I was frustrated by the wireless connection in my room and even in the lobby. It wasn't conveinent that I had to sit in the lobby to talk on my phone via wifi. WIFI - you'll need to ask the reception desk for login details. The WIFI reception in our rooms was not so great. My advice for the hotel is to upgrade the WIFI as this is now as important as running water!. - Slow and old-fashioned internet connection, though it's free all the time. - A bottle or two of mineral water could have been included in the welcome package (cheaper hotels do that quite often) - Queen size bed only - Refill of soap, shampoo etc. was originally not included in the price, but we were resupplied because we changed room. if i had to be picky it lacked a large mirror and the light switches not easy to use, wifi was good but needed a new access code every day. Great apartment for 4 if you have smaller children. With teens the 4th bed being the sofa (however not a pull out double bed sofa) a sofa that is a single bed.. it was a bit too small for us. Okay for a couple of nights but any longer a bit too crowded. Our kitchen did not have a kettle or any milk for coffee. The Wi-Fi was a tad tedious...and not very reliable!. Not much. The cleaning of the room, though good, can be improved. u will feel the trains in the subway. but it was fine for us. we slept fine. Gym just few very basic/old machines. The free internet is slow, and from time to time blocks emails. You need to type a very long password for each device a few times every day. We would like to have an option for breakfast. The only item that could be improved is the wi-fi. It's a little slow at times and requires you to log on with your user ID and password after each time you leave your room/the signal. Our booking for 4 was accepted in the studio apartment but the 4th bed was made up on the lounge. (No easy chairs to sit on). The technowizz lighting was a little bit too clever for itself. The sound of stilettos on the concrete floors echoing thru the building at all hours of the night. no doors between bedroom and bathroom; mezi ložnicí a koupelnou nejsou dveře. They require more sun lounges on the roof pool area. nothing. No breakfast. did not find anything to dislike ). wifi was a web based interface which meant repeat log on. Otherwise great a time. Leaky shower doors caused pools of water on the bathroom floor. Nothing. Poor instructions for electric appliances. Internet not too stable. Not all the cleaners were created equal. We stayed for 4 nights. Wednesday through to Sunday. The staff who came in Friday during the day ignored our kitchen. I understand that they are not responsible for cleaning the dishes we left behind but they did not clean anything in the kitchen. Not a criticism, but bathrobes would have been great. complicated light switch on/0ff. The WiFi was weak. Wifi a bit difficult but useable. A luggage trolly would be ideal to help get luggage to/from the room. toilet opposite to a bed. internet wifi.
