The most important thing is that it was Clean. Then obviously the staff, -they were very helpful,friendly, yet professional. Nice outside / inside sitting room with plant life and trees attached to the Hotels Restuarant. It had very clean linen ,clean enviroment kind staff especially the night shift chap who served me dinner after hours.Great Guy.Breakfast was good.I was impressed by shuttle service so did my family. Bathroom was superb ,very clean.Great place for a stopover and very secure. Besides the fact that it is a state of the art hotel, it is very neat, affordable and value for money. Getting back to the Hotel from the Airport was a little tedious because its directly behind the Freeway, but it is still very close so not too much of an issue. Apart from these minor issues, its a great place. We could not find any fault during our breif stay. Nothing!. The technology: No TV (it was down throughout the hotel). Internet billing system kept claiming I exhausted my free allocation. Taxi driver called by Reception was VERY late and cheated me on the bill. Nothing. Need to have wifi or connection in room. As for business trip it more useful to work in room than business center or lobby. None. No extra blanket in the cupboard for a back-up on a particular cold night. Bedding was perfect, though, for a "normal" night. No microwave for late comers We had a terrible experience previously at another hotel in Kempton and since then decided to bring own food on late arrivals or eat beforehand at airport. I think more improvement on internet accessibility. I bought an internet voucher but no one explained to me that I needed to have a telephone code to access the internet. I had to call first and then they sent a technician to fix my problem. I think this should be dealt with immediately and if not that explanations are provided prior to experiencing problems. Wrong time for wake up call...but that isn't a big problem, that's for sure. The shutle service to the airport should be more frequent, at least every half hour; I had to take a taxi to the airport... Nothing. nothing. Internet connection was interrupted and no taxi available to go to the airport. Shuttle to the airport only every hour. Boring food - And: this is not an accusation - merely sommething we want you to know - yours was the last tme we used our credit card and subsequently R25k was taken off our account in JHB London and New York!?!??. The non exsistant wi-fi connection and bad reception for intrernet, even the reception on my phone was bad!. Not easy to get the internet freely. Lack of telephone next to bed, very inconvenient.Service in restaurant could be improved in terms of waiter´s attention. The signs towards the bus shuttle. I booked a double room bed and breakfast and when we had breakfast I had to pay an additional R140 for my wife's breakfast???. transportation problem from Airport to the Hotel very close but the fair is another thing just about 1km to the Airport and i spent over R1000 thro and flo to Airport about 3times. i spent r 50 to purchase 250MB internet, while there is no wifi signl at all in my roon. the staff were rude and unfriendly. Someone tried to open our room door very early in the morning using a key. Luckily we had double locked so they couldn't open the door. When I asked who it was, the person said that they were bringing a newspaper. 2 minutes later we opened the door and there was no newspaper. This freaked us out and we wont return to the hotel unless management investigates this incident and explains to us what happened. We felt quite unsfae. Dining room staff look at you but do not see you - had to wave to get service. staff need to look alive. No side plates on the table,and no teaspoon to stir coffee. Cutlery washed but not clean. Bath room floor dirty. Shower head broken. Room 802. Shuttle from airport never showed up Empty of people.No ambience.
