On arrival I noticed the hotel was clean and fresh and had a lovely aromatic smell. Staff welcomed me, then helped us to get luggage from our car which was parked just down the street and showed us where their car park was. The staff offered us a drink whilst they carried the luggage upstairs to our rooms as they have no lift. There were four of us and both of the rooms we had were different, spacious and well equiped. The location was very convenient to drive to and in a lovely quiet part of .

The Lesar Angel is in the perfect location, nestled in with the beautiful stone buildings of Ljubljana, but on a quiet side street. Fantastic location in heart of old town. Friendly and efficient staff. Good quality furnishings in room and communal areas. Got free upgrade to double deluxe room on arrival. Clear glass doors on the barhroom. Outside city center its pretty ordinary. I did not like the fact that some of the furniture is from IKEA; nothing against IKEA but the hotel is very elegant and I think other furniture would be a better choice for the hotel. - Rooms far too hot - Shower spaying water all over the bathroom. The breakfasts were only okay. nothing. - Charging extra for the capucchino at breakfast - Difficult to find/reach (restricted zone). We paid top price and people who had paid less were upgraded over us,nior staff were abrupt, over 60 steps to the room, mean supply of toiletries. Abominable parking arrangements for which we paid extra and could not be used due to poor management, we will never return!. Hotel needs a total renovation Breakfast Rooms can be more cleaner Pillows made by artificial material.It sweats. No car parking. Classic Twin/Double room number 11 is very very small. No elevator room is situated floor three so you have carry bags on stairs. Lack of storage space in room and in bathroom. The hotel has not facilities required to a modern hotel. Air conditioned not working properly. Room not ready by housekeepers before 3 pm!!! No lift (3 levels hotel!). No parking. Receptionist often not in place and clients obliged to look for him in the building. Honestly, design and good location must not be the price to pay for a lack of services and comfort. Next time in Ljubljana I will stay at Best Western.
