This is a very good value hotel which is very well-run. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff and owners are really helpful and kind and are willing to do anything to help. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the centre so you are close to all the main attractions in the city, but the area which the hotel itself is in is very quiet and calm. I felt very much at home while staying there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Bratislava. Thanks for .
all reviews » I liked the family atmosphere of the hotel. Service was fast and the staff very helpful. I came much too early, but I could leave my luggage at the 'reception' (the luggage was already in my room when I was back). Also, I could check in 2 h earlier without additional pay. The room was comfortable, very quiet, wi-fi worked fine. Nicely arranged garden. Fast and easy connection to the city center (7 minutes by tram no. 9, tram stops nearby). Close to Tesco. Our room (double) was very spacious with comfortable sofa and armchairs and double sink bathroom. Breakfasts very good and there is a lovely big garden to sit out in. Very good couple of pubs a 10 minute walk away that brew their own beer and do very good food. Good vfm for a city break. the whole building is really nice, greatly renovated, the furniture fits to the spirit of the hotel, rooms are very nice, spacious, everything is very clean, the price for all this is really great. Straightforward to find from main railway station. About 15 minutes walk. I would stay in this hotel again. There were no vegetables at the breakfast (apart from 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber that came with my sausagges). There is no elevator. The reception is open from 7 to 23. Should be open 24h. There was no shampoo and no hair dryer in the room. A long walk from train station down fairly grim streets but about 10-15 minute walk to the historic centre. Shame there's no kettle, tea/coffee in hotel room. a bit noisy if you get a room on the ground floor. Perhaps a bit expensive but excellent place to explore Bratislava. staff looked tired, was not on post when we arrived at the hotel and had to wait (even for a few minutes but we did not know that then and it was quite frustrating), bed matress was not comfortable. We had booked a room for 3 adults and the 3rd bed was very low and close to the floor and thus very uncomfortable to lie down/stand up. Arriving in the evening, the hotel was located in what appeared initially to be a run down area of the city. However, I later discovered this is the norm for Bratislava outside of the old town!.
