convenience to town, quiet and peaceful. Good location, friendly staff, the best indian food ever had, we do recommend the Botel Marina 100%. Not too far away from city centre. Nice breakfast, comfortable bed (although a little small), 24/7 reception. Being on the water. good idea. Novelty of sleeping on a boat; closeness to city centre.
all reviews » It was not just a hotel it was an attraction to. Very peaceful. The only downfall was the staff. Ive been treated better at 2star hotels.the service is pathetic.. breakfast was cold and it took 30 mins for them to get coffee.. rooms are small and not very clean.. The aircondition didnt work well.. Restaurant fare was Inidian, food was OK, but the service took over 50 minutes to receive from the time we ordered.The rooms and corridor were stiflingly hot and the air conditioning did not work in the rooms (there were 7 of us in 4 rooms with the same problem, rather than a one off). This needs fixing ASAP. Small rooms, weak air con, shower plug blocked up quickly, parking on street was a bit dodgy and badly lit.When we arrived back from Dinner and wanted a nightcap we were directed to the bar downstairs which turned out to be a brothel and the drinks were exhorbitant. When I approached the night receptionist about the brothel she was rude in the extreme. there's no secure parking even it's written in the description. General cleanliness of boat was not good with dirty plates left for over24hours on deck. No-one was overseeing breakfast on the Sunday morningalthough this was not the case on the Monday and the reception staffwere not particularly welcoming. Just the staff, they were not vry friendly, it felt like they did not want to be there. Also they really need to upgrade the airconditioner system, just being on the water did not keep the place cool.It was very , very bad. worst hotel i have ever seen in my life. It was very dirty ,TV in lobby was broken half of picture can nor see.Smell very hard , Indian fumigation in every where. service, cleanliness. rude staff, curry smell everywhere due to the restaurant being an indian restaurant (which was not shown on your website) the pole dancing club (also not mentioned) very dated decor, minute bedroom, even smaller bathroom only slightly larger than an airplane toilet. location from dropping off which is on the side of a busy dualcarriage way....and plenty more.
