I can not praise this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived Dragan and his staff did everything possible to make our stay as welcoming as it could be. When one of our group was unwell on the second day, a member of staff even called by the room to see if they were okay. Eight of us stayed for 2 nights and loved our stay. The restaurant in the hotel had a wide variety of dishes which helped to cater for vegetarians in our group. For the price we paid, this has to be the most value for.
all reviews » Second time here so was hoping not to be let down. Nice big room, plenty of space, balcony as well. Comfy bed but lumpy pillows!. Breakfast a la carte and really good, cooked fresh, good coffee. Dragan the manager is the Fontana, he makes you feel welcome and helps with any problems. As the weather was unseasonably warm I got an offer of my clothes being laundered gratis! Much appreciated. All in all, a really good choice, great location, nice atmosphere, good hospitality. No hesitation in ret. Excellent accomodation in the same center of the nice town. Very friendly and professional staff. English is not the most preffered language, but Russian is. Enough space in the rooms, clean and comfortable. Combination with restaurant is another plus and breakfast we has been offered was simply magnificent. Ee appreciate a lot the private parking in garage. Superb value for money. I can fully recommend this venue. The staff is extraordinary helpful and supportive. The rooms are rather basic but clean. The airco is functioning well. Private parking in the cellar of the building. During summertime the Danube beach facilities offer entertainment for all including safe guarded swimming. Many open air pubs and restaurants, nice parks and shopping avenues make Novi Sad a perfect weekend destination. The owner and staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The room we were in (10) was massive and very comfortable, excellent full body shower and walk in wardrobe. The restaurant is exceptional and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city. Will stay here again. Hotel well located. Its 5 min walk to city Catholic Cathedral and Hotel Vojvodina (where Novi Sad semi-marathon took place). Owner Dragan is very helpful. Breakfast a la carte, and you may order anything you want from such menu. Underground parking is available, quite narrow, but manageable. The staff spoke English, easy to find, secured car parking and very nice courtyard for eating and listening to music that had for Saturday night.(violinist). We were a few blocks from the main square and could walk to the Fortess. We would stay again if we were to visit Novi Sad again. Excellent restaurant in the ground floor, great cooked breakfasts, fast wifi, excellent air-conditioning. The bathroom was newly renovated with modern shower and hairdryer. Excellent location - city center, but not noisy, all attractions at hand. Excellent value for money. The hotel is a bit old but clean, the rooms a big and the beds are comfortable. The location is excelent and breakfast is very good. It is very near the Danube park and river. Getting from the motorway into the city was rather difficult. Because of huge reconstruction works you need to pick the one and only motorway exit to Novi Sad, otherwise you have to drive about 25 km to make a u-turn on the motorway right in front of the toll road station. There was nothing to dislike. The bathroom facilities could be improved. We also got a room at the last floor, and near the roof, and because of this it was a bit chilli in the night. My room was attic, not not newly renovated, furniture rather basic. Otherwise I am fully satisfied and would stay in this hotel again. There is no elevator in the hotel. Top floor rooms were a bit cold at night. Garage is not the easiest one, especially with large car. There is nothing wrong with this place!. Although in a period hotel, there was some very garish and tacky decoration in part. The room could do with some thicker curtains. There should be a non-smoking airconditioned section of the restaurant, however there is a problem with smoking all over Serbia not just here. Nothing. I just regret that the weather was cold so we couldn't really use the hotel's garden. Nothing. Our room needed a thicker curtain so the street light wouldn't shine in at night. Nothing!. heating could be a bit better. Something doesn't work ... everything is ok. there was no blow dryer. Very poor standard of rooms. the bathroom in the room(no 13) was old, without window. Νothing ,but the colours of the walls was relevant to the pictures showed in the site.the sheets were rough. - It seems that there are very different rooms you could get. Ours was No 13 and it was very different, I.E. very poorly furnished compared to the photos of the rooms at letsbookhotel.com. - For this kind of room (see above) the price (for Novi Sad) was quite high. - At check-out we did not get our passeports back.
