We stayed in a double room. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, good designers work here. The staff is very helpful. We could ask any question about the city or anything else, and the receptionist would explain everything in a polite way. They can take your clothes to the dry-cleaner's, they can tell you where to rent a bike, or to store it in the hotel's garage at night. They speak English, and some of them speak a little Russian. Сhambermaids are also polite and helpful. Tasty breakfast.
all reviews » The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, but fabulously tucked away in a very quiet street. You are surrounded by the prettiest shopping / cafe / restaurant district in Novi Sad, art galleries, cobble stone streets, and you are a short stroll to the River Danube and the famous fortress - Petrovaradin. The hotel staff were absolutely delightful. They were available 24 hours a day, they made time to chat with guests, provided suggestions as to where to go with detailed directions, and not. Good location – in a small street next to the center – quiet and close to everything. You really feel welcome to come back. The location in the centre of the beautiful old city was just a perfect way to end our holiday in the Balkans. The breakfast downstairs in Cafe Veliki was delicious with more choices than we had experienced in our travels during this holiday.We also ate an evening meal in the Cafe on our first night and desserts there another night. Everything that our group of 5 adults ordered was delicious, organic and visually appealing. The stuff was very helpful.Meriam helped me to find a guide for the excursion to Fruska Gora, but other touristic agencies refused. She managed to do it in a few minutes! Also, the location of the hotel is perfect - it is in the heart of Novy Sad, you can go shopping or sightseeing. And there are a lot of different restaurants around the hotel. Location is excellent. To jednak drobiazgi, ogólnie było super. Tiny bathroom, dark in the room - only one small window with woodden blind, doors hard to open and close. But these are minor things, the stay was great. We have no complaints. No faults were notices. Mosquitos. The restaurant had the same room for smokers and non-smokers. A bit noisy (noise coming from the street). Wifi connection in our room was unstable. No lift.It might be a problem for somebody Bell sound coming oftenly from a church nearby. Noise in the street at morning. Access wit car. No lift. Nothing. Absolutely no negative comments about this hotel. Wifi was terrible. No elevator. There was some noise from the road. security light above the door was giving off too much light during the night. After staying here 5 times already, I have yet no negative comment. It was noisily late in the evening on the side, where I lived. Breakfast ok and varied but the "hot "dishes, in a open topped dish were cold, congealed and unappealing. A shame, as it could so easily be good. Restaurant staff unmotivated, in stark contrast with the excellent reception staff. Room was not serviced daily. Room was very small. Noise on the street at night. There were quite a lot of mosquitos in our room. The breakfast can be little bit better and sometimes in noisy in the evenings. No lift. Some noice at night. Nice to stay.
